About Your New Clinic
The clinic has 2 consult rooms, ultrasound, IM3 dental and IM3 dental radiograph as well as 3 anaesthetic machines and more. Our team of 2 Vets and 5 Nurses support one another like family and have a strong focus on mental health wellbeing and work life balance. The team, clients and patients at Robina Village have a real down to earth nature. We are positive, easy going and professional. All of us love to cuddle the patients, chat with the clients and get our hands dirty when needed. About Our Clinic
Our busy 4 Vet practice with modern, is well equipped and recently renovated. We see an interesting and varied caseload of small animal medicine and surgery. We are well staffed with six full-time Veterinary Nurses who work alongside experienced Vets. We promote a culture of job satisfaction through healthy work and home life balance as well as lots of case sharing and interaction amongst our colleagues in the workplace. After hours is handled by a local 24-hour emergency centre.

Greencross strives to ensure a work life balance creating a supportive and motivated workplace culture therefore, we will support you with 4 weeks of pro-rata annual leave and 1-week pro-rata study leave. At our nearby clinics two after hours facilities are available for referrals on the Gold Coast, so there is no need for after hours on call rostering and therefore maintaining an ideal work life balance.

About Our Clinic
Our clinic is equipped with digital x-rays, dental x-ray and a portable Mindray ultrasound. We have 2 consult rooms, and 2 surgery rooms, one sterile and one unsterile, a groomers room and a hospital. We are the only non-emergency after hours practice open 7 days a week on the coast, which sets us apart from anyone else.

Palm Beach is a small animal clinic where we see mainly dogs and cats.  Our clients are Palm Beach locals and are easy-going and understanding. Many of our clients are long-term clients as we have a very established practice.  Some clients tell us stories about how they’ve been seeing our long-standing Vet Director, Dr Andrew Blum for years.

What is the duration of the program?

  • Our program is designed for 12 months which includes a 5-day initial induction week (great way to meet your cohort!)

Do I work within only 1 clinic?

  • Although you will work predominately within one clinic, or in some cases between two, you will gain exposure to not only our General Practices, but also our Emergency and Referral hospitals and our not-for-profit partner organisations through our two week program.

What type of training and learning will I be exposed to?

Our program provides you will extensive learning and development in the forms of:

  • A comprehensive training induction program

  • A 12-module education program incorporates structured logical and progressive education in the areas of; Dermatology, Critical care and anesthesia, Clinical pathology and laboratory diagnosis, Ophthalmology, Surgical techniques of soft tissue surgery, Dentistry, Gastroenterology, Radiology, Cardiology, Infectious diseases and preventative health care, Electives : Oncology, Neurology, Pharmacology, Exotic animal medicine and surgery, Feline medicine, Urology

The Opportunity

Ideally based in Western Australia working from home part or full time, and working closely with our support office in Sydney, GP Clinics (Greencross Vets), Animal Emergency and Referral Hospitals nationally, this role will provide extra patient care through our online WEBVET platform and will cover our busy periods from 6pm-12 AWST midnight on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday to support our clients.
