Vet Customer Care/Receptionist
Brisbane QLD

ARH Brisbane is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic veterinary receptionist to join our vibrant customer care team.

• Enjoy a different challenge than what veterinary GP can provide
• Be a valued member of a highly skilled and supportive team
• Excel in an encouraging and diverse workplace

Our ARH Brisbane family is part of a well-established group of specialist and emergency veterinary hospitals. Our purpose-designed, state of the art hospital houses our specialty services, including small animal surgery, internal medicine, neurology, surgical and medical oncology, and an after-hours emergency and critical care service.

ARH Brisbane is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, therefore our team work a range of rotational shifts, which may include later evenings, weekends and public holidays. Work-life balance is incredibly important to us though – we are all about the 4-day work week!

About the role
Our customer care team members are the front-line for our entire hospital – they are busy, busy, busy! At ARH Brisbane, our team manage some of the most serious injuries and illnesses in pets, so it is essential that our customer care team members are highly experienced in veterinary care. As a member of our customer care team, your responsibilities will include:
• Being a first point of contact, and an ongoing liaison for clients – a smiling, familiar face to greet them at each visit
• Managing a high volume of inbound/outbound calls
• Actioning a diverse range of emails
• Scheduling appointment bookings
• Administration duties and associated tasks including point of sale operations, insurance, accounts, etc.
• And above all, delivering outstanding experiences to clients and their beloved pets

About You
You have a minimum 3 years of experience in a busy veterinary clinic/hospital as a nurse, technologist or receptionist. You share the same values as our existing customer care team – delivering outstanding customer experiences. You have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills, and thrive working in a fast-paced role. You enjoy working in a team environment but can also work individually, and believe a customer-focused reception role is where you shine!

Our Offer to You
This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated, hardworking individual to work in a busy yet friendly and supportive specialty and emergency hospital. Excellent remuneration and benefits are on offer along with the opportunity to acquire new and diverse skill sets. And did we mention the 4-day work week?! At ARH Brisbane you will develop both professionally and personally in this challenging yet rewarding role, and be a valued member of a caring, passionate and highly skilled team.
