Veterinary Medicine Internship

An opportunity for a Veterinarian to join our team at ARH Canberra for a 12-month Veterinary Medicine Internship, on a full-time basis.
The Animal Referral Hospital is a part of Australia’s largest well-established group of specialist veterinary hospitals dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients, our clients, and our staff. We offer a wide range of specialist services and provide 24-hour emergency and critical care through our facilities in NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, and SA. ARH Canberra is an around the clock service to the community for their beloved pets. We have a relocated early November to a brand-new purpose-built Specialist and Emergency Facility out near the airport. We have a brand-new MRI and CT, and all the equipment you would need across the dedicated spaces.
Working under supervision, there will be the opportunity to engage directly and frequently with the Internal Medicine Specialist and other departmental specialists. Journal reviews and the writing of papers will be encouraged and supported as part of further learning. Suitable for a Vet in the early stages of their career seeking to develop their knowledge and skills in Surgery.
The department-specific internships will enable the successful applicants to advance their knowledge and gain skills in key aspects of the veterinary industry in a modern, world class facility.
About Your Skills & Qualifications
• A Veterinary degree registerable in the ACT
• Ideally have completed a rotating internship or equivalent
• A genuine desire to be a part of our team practising the highest standards in veterinary care
• A keen interest in developing your knowledge and skills in Medicine
• Passion and self-motivation for continuing education
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills and a
• Flexible, adaptable, positive attitude with a focus on teamwork
