Small Animal Veterinary Rotating Internship

An opportunity for a Veterinarian to join ARH Brisbane on a Rotating Internship for 12 to 18 months on a full-time basis.

ARH Brisbane is a recently opened specialist and emergency hospital at Sinnamon Park in Brisbane’s west. Our purpose-designed, state of the art hospital, offers small animal surgery, internal medicine, neurology and surgical and medical oncology services, in conjunction with an after-hours emergency and critical care service. Facilities at our new hospital in Brisbane include digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT and MRI scanners and in-house diagnostic laboratory.
About Your New Role
You will work under the guidance of our specialists and more broadly within our team of professional veterinarians and expert nursing staff. You will also have close involvement with our other departments.
Interns are expected to participate in daily rounds and weekly journal club or case presentations. They will be encouraged to complete a published work during their internship and, if eligible, to work towards completion of ANZCVS small animal membership examinations.

The position includes 4 weeks of annual leave and 1 week of study leave.
About Your Skills & Qualifications
Candidates must be eligible for veterinary registration in QLD, hold a current Radiation licence, and have excellent communication skills and work ethic as well as a strong knowledge base on which to build. Clinical experience is desirable but not essential.
