Hello, from

Welcome to Greencross Vets Redbank Plains

Important Update

Please note: From Saturday 23 April 2022, our Greencross Vets Redbank Plains clinic will be temporarily closed.

We are so happy for the many new pet parents experiencing the joy of loving a pet, however with a steep increase in pet ownership and a national shortage of veterinary staff, we have made the difficult decision to close.

We hope to reopen soon, however if you need veterinary care during this time:
Greencross Vets Camira, Greencross Vets Forest Lake and Greencross Vets Silkstone-Booval are nearby and your pet’s records will be on file.

• Healthy Pets Plus members can redeem their benefits at any Greencross Vets location. Find a vet.

• You can speak with a Greencross WebVet 24/7 via video call. They will assess your pet via video, take notes of your pet’s condition and share the advice provided with your regular vet, ensuring continuity of care. WebVet is free for Healthy Pets Plus members. Learn more.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience during this time.

We look forward to welcoming you and your pets in clinic again soon,

Our Services.

Greencross Vets Redbank Plains offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Meet The Team

Dr Amelia Fallon

Dr Amelia Fallon

Amelia graduated from Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in Gatton. Since then she has mainly worked as a small animal veterinarian, though originally she wanted to be in mixed practice having grown up in rural NSW.

Amelia has always had a passion for veterinary medicine and has wanted to be a vet ever since she was a little girl. She loves working with owners to improve animal health and strengthen the human-animal bond.

When not working, she likes to spend her time camping and exploring the outdoors with her family and animals.
Amelia and her husband Baden welcomed their first baby, Brinley, in December 2019, and she is already just as animal obsessed and maybe a future veterinarian as well!

Kathryn Zwart

Kathryn Zwart

I have been vet nursing for just over 3 years. My areas of interest include surgery and pathology. I enjoy seeing difficult cases and working with the vets to obtain the best result for the patient.

I also enjoy being able to lead a team to success and provide support to staff when the day doesn’t go to plan.

Although I love to see all creatures fluffy, feathery and scaly, I have a real soft spot for the oldies and I always make sure they get endless cuddles and treats so they don’t feel forgotten. I own two very spoilt Dachshunds, Ruby and Ivy.

Cassie Steele

Cassie Steele

Practice Manager
Cassie has been around animals her whole life and turned her passion into a career 10 years ago working at the University of Queensland. Training at a specialist centre and moving into GP, Cassie found her passion with difficult emergency, surgical and medical cases. Cassie is our resident unusual pet lover and will be the first person to go meet any pocket pets and reptiles brought in. Cassie has two pet Frilled-neck lizards, ‘Clever’ and ‘Frildo Baggins’, a Crabbet Arabian horse ‘Benny’ and a Finnish Lapphund called Nukka.
When Cassie isn’t at work she loves working on cars, attending dog sports and photographing animals.
