Our Services.

Greencross Vets Redbank Plains offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Having worked with animals since she was young, both in Australia and in England, Carly would like to eventually work with wildlife and conservation. Carly currently shares her home with three rescue kitties: Maggie (short for Magdalene), who was rescued as a 9-month old from a drain at the local high school with her three babies; Primrose (“Prim”), who was part of a litter of four dumped at the clinic along with her sister Dotti, who suffers from a few very interesting conditions, including scoliosis!

Holly Barnes

Holly Barnes

From a young age Holly always knew she wanted to be in the veterinary industry. When a traineeship arose in high school to work in a Greencross clinic as well as complete a cert II in Animal studies throughout year 12, Holly jumped at the chance. She completed her cert II and finished year 12 at the same time. Whilst doing the cert II, Holly worked with Greencross Vet Camira two days a week during year 12. Then 2 weeks after completing year 12, she got a full time job at Greencross Vet Silkstone and started her cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. Holly cares greatly for the well being of all animals and wants to help at any chance she gets. She owns 2 very different dogs name Honey (Irish wolfhound x) and Marley (Maltese x Shih Tzu).

Keira Millis

During her time at university and shortly after graduating, she worked in a mixed animal practice in Gatton where she gained all her basic skills and training. Keira has recently come back to small animal nursing to refresh and extend her knowledge in her key interest areas of surgical nursing and anesthesia. In her spare time Keira enjoys riding her two horses and attempting to get back to competing in showjumping.
