Dr Caroline Butler
Dr Caroline Butler
I trained as a Veterinarian in Brisbane and graduated in 1995 and after a short 20-year stint working as a vet in Melbourne, I have seen the light and returned to the beautiful Gold Coast. I have been in small animal clinics for most of my 25-year career and love helping people have a strong bond with their animals by keeping them healthy in body and mind. I have done further training in Acupuncture, Diagnostic Imaging and have special interest in Geriatric medicine.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, take my boys for a swim or enjoy this amazing country with camping holidays. Wherever we go we are joined by our fur-baby ‘Red’, an 8-year-old, Toy Poodle who believes she is a princess.
I have always been around animals growing up, so it was an easy choice for me to go into veterinary nursing. Even after 33 years in the industry, I am still passionate about caring for animals and supporting their owners. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes Korah the German Shepherd and Andy the Chihuahua.
Hi, I’m Kass, and I got my start in the industry in 2011 as a Kennel Hand at my local clinic back in Sydney. I have since moved to the beautiful Gold Coast and have been lucky enough to have been vet nursing since 2018. In 2020 I will be graduating with a dual degree in Veterinary Technology & Agribusiness, as well as receiving my Certificate IV in Vet Nursing. In my spare time, I love being outside at the beach, riding my bike along the boardwalk and hanging with my friends. I am also the proud owner of Maddie, the sassiest 12 year old Bichon Frise on the Gold Coast.
I began working with Greencross while I was completing my Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing, and have loved being part of such a fantastic team. I grew up in Malaysia and saw an incredible amount of stray dogs living in the streets. During this time in my childhood I decided I would dedicate my life to working with animals. My family relocated back to the Gold Coast 6 years ago and I am so lucky to be working in a field that I am so passionate about. My fur baby who is now 2 years old is a Labrador x Kelpie who loves water as much as I do and we spend our weekends on the beach and in our boat.
I joined the Greencross Vets team in 2010 whilst studying my Cert II in veterinary nursing. Since then I have completed my Cert IV and studied Vet Tech at the University of Queensland for 3 years. I moved to the Gold Coast and joined the Biggera Waters team in 2017 and haven’t looked back. In my spare time I enjoy riding my horse Diablo, and being a mum to my newborn baby. I also share my home with Mollie (Maltese dog), Paulie (Alexandrian Parrot) and Stevie (Lorikeet).
Hi, I’m Loren. I joined this lovely Greencross team back in March 2013 and have never looked back. No two days are the same and I find every day challenging and extremely rewarding. I have 3 fur babies – my pride and joys first is ‘Rumples’ who thinks he looks just like that famous actor ‘Scooby’. My best friend and I go everywhere together on our days off ( whether it’s working on our acreage property or headed down to for walks at the park). The other two fur-loves of my life are my ragdolls ‘Gucci’ and ‘Fluffles’ both seniors now, who love nothing more than lounging in the sun all day. I’ve also recently become engaged to the human love of my life Troy who is constantly putting up with me filling our acreage with rescues of every description from baby bush turkeys to peacocks, koalas and blue lounge lizards. Our team prides itself on being the best and we welcome your smiling faces to pop in and say hello.
I joined this fantastic Greencross team at the end of last year while studying my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I moved to the Gold Coast 3 years ago from Johannesburg in South Africa, where my love and passion to help animals initially flourished. Ever since I remember, I have always wanted to work with animals, I feel extremely lucky to be working and living my passion with such a phenomenal team! One of my other passions happens to be sport (cricket) and dog training in my spare time- especially with my beautiful fur baby Jazz who is a 5 year old German Shepard that thinks she is still a puppy.
Originally from country NSW, my love for animals has always been a strong one, so much so, that I spent my childhood Saturday mornings sitting in the window of the local petshop.
I started working as a veterinary nurse in 2001 in my hometown, where I completed my Certificate IV. After deciding on a sea change, I moved to the Gold Coast and joined the Greencross Biggera Waters team in 2010. I absolutely love being a vet nurse, it’s my absolute passion and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
I have two dogs, a Great Dane cross named Tilly and a little Pomeranian cross named Alvin. I also have two cats, a Ragdoll named Mia, and a Domestic Short Haired naughty Torti named Frankie. When I am not at work you will probably find me at the beach with my dogs, spending time with friends or binge-watching Netflix.
