Our Clinic Team:

We have a close and like-minded core team of 2 vets and 5 nurses that are very genuine, friendly and knowledgeable and treat every animal that comes through the clinic as if it was their own. Burleigh Waters is located next door to a Petbarn retail store creating a network of highly engaged and committed pet owners as well as a steady stream of cross-referrals.

Our clinic is fully equipped with iM3 dental unit, digital xray, US, sterile surgical suite, oxygen and scavenger system, full in-house lab, cautery 2 consults, large treatment area, wet dental bench, sterile surgical suite, dedicated dog ward and cat ward.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and expertise:

  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent;
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse;
  • Excellent phone manner, communication skills and customer service skills;
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures;
  • A calm and friendly professional with a sense of humour;
  • An amazing ‘can do’, team player attitude.

Our clinic equipment further includes in house bloods (CBC, biochemistry, EPOC blood gases, blood typing and clotting times), digital radiology and dental radiology, high quality ultrasound with cardiac ultrasound potential, cautery, multimonitors including ECG and blood pressure, doppler and petmap blood pressure monitoring. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible support to ensuring a positive clinical experience and outcome for every client and their pet.

We are a large, fast-paced clinic with 4 consult rooms, a large treatment room with 2 surgeries, radiology room, separate cat ward, dog ward, isolation and treatment wards, radioactive iodine ward as well as ICU cages with oxygen capability in the treatment room. You will experience a wide variety of cases, with also a high volume of feline patients. We have a long-standing and established client base who are loyal to our vets and have built great trusting relationships over the years.

Our clinic is located next door to a large Petbarn retail store. Our team are highly passionate and love what they do, we provide gold standards of care and are constantly striving to improve to ensure we are providing our clients and pets with the best possible care. Our Veterinarians come with many years of experience between them, bringing their own skills to the practice, including breeding, chiropractic, reptile, ultrasonography and orthopaedic interests.

Our clinic is a well-established, purpose-built facility, fully equipped with ultrasound, digital xray, in house lab, 3 consult rooms, surgery suite as well as cat and dog boarding.
