We stand as one of only three practices in Brisbane, offering radioactive iodine treatment for Hyperthyroid cats, with leading specialised facilities including dental radiographs, ISFM and stress-free accreditation. Our clinic equipment further includes in house bloods (CBC, biochemistry, EPOC blood gases, blood typing and clotting times), digital radiology and dental radiology, high quality ultrasound with cardiac ultrasound potential, cautery, multimonitors including ECG and blood pressure, doppler and petmap blood pressure monitoring, Digital Xray, Endoscope and Digital Dental Xray. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible support to ensuring a positive clinical experience and outcome for every client and their pet.

We are a large, fast-paced clinic with 4 consult rooms, a large treatment room with 2 surgeries, radiology room, separate cat ward, dog ward, isolation and treatment wards, radioactive iodine ward as well as ICU cages with oxygen capability in the treatment room. You will experience a wide variety of cases, with also a high volume of feline patients. We have a long-standing and established client base who are loyal to our vets and have built great trusting relationships over the years.

Our clinic is located next door to a large Petbarn retail store. We are a close-knit, family focused team of 2 Vets and 3 nurses lead by an experienced Head Vet that holds memberships in diagnostic imaging and is a highly skilled ultrasonographer. She also has a special interest in medicine and welcomes the participation of any Vets seeking to further their experience in surgery, providing endless learning and development opportunities.

Our team is constantly striving to improve, we encourage strong communication and collaboration as well high engagement with Continuing Education. We are open to updating our clinic procedures to ensure we’re offering the best possible standards of care to our loyal clients and their pets.

Our clinic recently underwent a major renovation this year, with a complete restructure of our layout. The entire clinic has been purpose built to ensure cases flow well throughout the building and patients are easily monitored throughout the day. Our facilities include Ultrasound machine, IM3 Dental machine, Dental X-ray, new high frequency Digital X-ray, Multi-parameter patient monitoring, including Capnograph and ECG. Two consult rooms, spacious surgery, dedicated isolation ward, separate dog hospital ward, including dog run, dedicated X-ray room and staff lunch area.

  • Exceptional organisation, communication and customer service skills;
  • Flexible and adaptable within a team environment;
  • Knowledge of Rx Works ideal but not essential.
  • Able to work sole charge with a veterinarian, strong anaesthetic monitoring skills and ability to work in a busy environment is paramount

West Gosford is an established and comprehensive clinic, some of our other facilities include a large enclosed waiting area, dedicated dog and cat consult rooms, large treatment room area with 2 work tables, separate enclosed sterile surgery and diagnostics room. We are a caring team of 3 vets and 3 nurses, that all support each other in every way we can.

Our clinic is located within one of our Petbarn retail stores.
