Graduate Veterinarian

“take the next step, being supported in your new career”

Greencross is offering an exciting new role for an energetic and driven veterinarian to work alongside our experienced and supportive team at Kilsyth.  At Greencross our teams are “passionate about pets”, we love what we do and are highly driven to achieving our goal, which is to “make the world a happier place through the love of pets.”

We are a large size (6 vets) small animal clinic at the foot of the Dandenongs.  We have an awesome team of Vets and nurses who believe the workplace should be a fun place to be.  We love to bounce ideas for cases off each other – the perks of having many vets under one roof.  The nurse team is very skilled and hands on, providing excellent support to our wonderful vets.

We have digital xray, ultrasound, endoscopes x 2, laser therapy, a fully equipped surgery, capnography, ECG, a fully equipped in house lab, iM3 dental machine, separate cat and dog wards, almost cat accreditation (so very very close), puppy school, the list goes on, we have a lot of toys!

We have very strong relationships with both the MVSC and VRH and utilise their specialists’ knowledge by regularly gaining their opinions on some of our more complex cases.

At Kilsyth we attract a vast array of both wonderful and also the more unusual cases.  If you are looking for a clinic where you will have a steady stream of interesting cases to challenge you (with lots of support) then we are the clinic for you.  We have nurses that work across both GP and Emergency which is another excellent resource for you.

Our clinic lives by the mantra “Teamwork makes the dreamwork”.

Our clients are motivated to always provide the best care for their pets.  They are a great mix of ages and socioeconomic backgrounds but all have a common goal of keeping their pets happy and healthy.

Local to both the Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley.  AMAZING bushwalking in the Dandenongs, and the Yarra Valley needs no introduction – wine, cheese, fabulous scenery, what’s not to love.

Eastland and Knox shopping Centres are both within close proximity if you need some retail therapy

Graduate Program includes:

  • 12-month education program that is both hands on and online workshop programs
