Greencross Vets Box Hill is a state of the art veterinary clinic featuring the most advanced medical, diagnostics and surgical equipment. The veterinary clinic is also conveniently located within the Petbarn store so you can obtain all your pet care needs under the one roof.

We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services ensure that your pet is healthy and happy throughout all life stages, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine.

Pet owners will experience a high level of care and service for their pets delivered by our team of highly skilled and dedicated vets and nurses.

Greencross Vets Box Hill offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Hannah is our Senior Veterinary Nurse with almost two decades of experience. She has her Certificates II and III in Animal Studies, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and her Diploma of Veterinary Nursing (General Practice).

Hannah has joined the Greencross Box Hill team with experience in practice management as well in an array of specialist roles including ophthalmology, surgery, internal medicine and oncology. She began her career in 2005 and still loves all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a particular passion for feline patients, complex anaesthesia and challenging medical cases. Hannah spent time as a state division committee member and secretary of the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia and is passionate about the education of nurses.

Outside of the clinic, Hannah is a mum to a busy toddler as well her three pets, Colin the Welsh Terrier and two cats, Greg Boy the Siamese and Judy the Oriental Shorthair.

Dr Devina Loekito

Veterinarian

Dr Devina graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010, undertaking her first vet role at a mixed practice clinic in Macedon Ranges. She subsequently developed her special interest in small animal medicine and has completed various distance education courses in dermatology, emergency medicine and diagnostic ultrasound.
In 2017, Devina began her leadership role as Veterinary Director for Greencross Macedon Ranges, completing her Diploma of Management in 2018.
After completing her Diploma, she then decided to pursue other interests in interior styling which involves staging many houses for sale, whilst working part time across multiple veterinary clinics in both inner and regional Victoria, before joining the Greencross Box Hill team in 2022.

In her spare time, Devina likes to travel, read and browse through interior shops when her toddler isn’t keeper her busy. She also has a soft spot for rescues (previously owning four adopted fur babies) and throughout the years has brought home a cleft palate French Bulldog, a hairless Border Collie, and a few stray kittens which she has successfully rehomed much to her husband’s relief.

Dr Devina speaks fluent Indonesian.

Dr Matthew Fox

Veterinarian

Dr Matthew Fox graduated from Murdoch University (Perth) in 2022 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Melbourne in early 2023 to join the teams at Greencross Box Hill and Ferntree Gully. He has a keen interest in endocrinology and hopes to pursue additional study in this field in the future.
Outside of the clinic, Matt enjoys keeping fit at the gym and bouldering. Back home in Perth, Matt has a nutty yet fun loving Spoodle named Milly and a cat named Moose.

Dr Ting-Wei Yeh

Dr Ting-Wei Yeh

Veterinarian

Dr Ting completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Melbourne in 2010. She has since worked in small animal practices in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and joined the team at Greencross Box Hill in 2022.
Ting is interested in small animal medicine with a special interest in preventive medicine and dermatology.
After work, Ting devotes herself to raising her daughter and pampering her two cats, Porky and Beefy. She also enjoys watching musical performances, travelling and making cabochon.

Dr Ting speaks fluent Mandarin and basic Taiwanese/Hokkien.

Janelle Evans

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Janelle is our Trainee Veterinary Nurse, who recently completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies through Greencross Vets’ Internship program at our Ferntree Gully clinic, whilst also studying a Bachelor of Science at Monash University, majoring in Zoology, Genetic and Genomics.
She also holds a Bachelor of Veterinary and Wildlife Science from Federation University and hopes to one day study her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, to become a Veterinarian. Janelle has a passion for animal behaviour, especially in large breed dogs.

Outside of the clinic, Janelle enjoys travelling, skiing and cooking. She has her hands full as a pet parent with two Border Collies – Ollie and Marlo, three rescue cats – Whiskey, Millie and Matilda, Franklin the Short Neck Turtle and a blue Indian Ringneck Parakeet named Chaidiya.

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Beau is our Senior Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV) and has been nursing for over a decade. Previously, Beau worked at Greencross Vets North Ringwood and joined the team at Box Hill in 2019.
Beau is highly trained and proficient in all aspects of Veterinary Nursing and provides excellent patient care. He also enjoys training and seeing to the development of junior nurses/interns so they may reach their full potential.
Outside of the clinic, Beau enjoys cooking, especially cuisine from his Hungarian heritage.
At home, Beau has a special interest in aquarium fish. He also has a spoiled family Yorkshire Terrier named Kisbaba.

Veterinarian

Dr Helen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990 with 1st class Honors. In 1999 she gained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine and in 2005 completed Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training through Delta Institute.
Helen has worked in many small animal practices in both Australia and England over the last 30 years and still loves her job. Helen enjoys continuing education and aims to provide high quality patient care, making your pet’s visit as stress free as possible.
Outside of the clinic, Helen enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, cooking, reading, travelling, photography and keeping tropical fish.
At home, Helen’s fur and feathered family includes Buddy the Japanese Spitz, Stanley the cat and Kevin and Misty the cockatiels which have all been adopted from previous homes.

Dr Ying Zheng

Veterinary Director

Dr Ying completed her Bachelor of Science with honors at the University of Melbourne in 2005 before graduating with her Veterinary Science degree in 2009. She began her career in a small animal practice in outer East Melbourne for seven years before she joined the team at Greencross Vets. In February 2024, Ying took on the role as Veterinary Director at Greencross Box Hill.

Ying is interested in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with a special interest in internal medicine and plans on working towards her memberships.

Outside of the clinic, Ying enjoys musical theatre, crafts and cake decorating, watching Disney movies with her two children, relaxing and playing golf with her husband and of course, cuddling with her sweet and smoochy cat twins, Milo the independent chocolate Burmese and Gracie the curious lilac Burmese.

Dr Ying speaks basic Mandarin and Hokkien.
