We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services ensure that your pet is healthy and happy throughout all life stages, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine.

Greencross Vets Box Hill offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.


Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.


Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.


Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

Meet The Team

Kelly Jensen

Kelly Jensen

Practice Manager

Kelly is our Practice Manager with over a decade of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV) and is registered under the Australian Veterinary Nurse and Technician (AVNAT) Registration Scheme.
Kelly is also our keen pet Nutritional Nurse Consultant having worked for Hill’s Pet Nutrition, completing numerous nutrition courses and attending conferences over the years.
Outside of the clinic, Kelly has a flair for visual arts, enjoys listening to music and travelling. In the near future, she hopes to travel to South Africa to volunteer with the lions and other big cats.
At home, Kelly has a spoiled ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lacey and one day hopes to add a British Short Hair to her fur family.

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Grase is our Trainee Veterinary Nurse having recently completed her Cert II in Animal Studies through Greencross Vets’ Internship Program and is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
With her bubbly personality, Grase is also our fabulous Puppy Preschool Instructor and enjoys seeing her puppy graduates blossom into well-trained adults.
Outside of the clinic, Grase is a lover of all things Disney, Barbie and Dolly Parton.
Growing up with dogs of all breeds and sizes, Grase is partial to Staffy hugs and kisses being a dog mama to her Staffy x Bull Arab named Missy.

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Beau is our Senior Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV) and has been nursing for over a decade.
Previously, Beau worked at Greencross Vets North Ringwood and joined the team at Box Hill in 2019. Beau is highly trained and proficient in all aspects of Veterinary Nursing and provides excellent patient care. He also enjoys training and seeing to the development of junior nurses/interns so they may reach their full potential.
Outside of the clinic, Beau enjoys cooking, especially cuisine from his Hungarian heritage.
At home, Beau has a special interest in aquarium fish. He also has 2 spoilt family Yorkshire Terriers named Kisbaba and Motzco.

Dr Christine Hou

Dr Christine Hou

Veterinary Director

Dr Christine is a passionate and committed small animal clinician who has taken on the role of Veterinary Director at our Greencross Box Hill clinic in 2020. Graduating as Dux in 2004, she went on to complete her Veterinary Science degree at The University of Melbourne in 2009 and has been working as a small animal veterinarian in busy small animal practices in Melbourne. Dr Christine strives to offer the highest standards of care to her patients, and loves contributing to the happiness, health and well-being of animals and their fur-less parents through getting to know the unique needs of each family. Despite growing up in Melbourne, Dr Christine speaks both fluent English and Mandarin.

Dr Christine enjoys the challenges of internal medicine cases and takes great care with patient follow up and continuity of care. She also has a special interest in veterinary dermatology, geriatric medicine and orthopaedic Surgery. Since joining the Greencross Vets Box Hill team in 2018, she has enjoyed the opportunity to work with Guide Dog Victoria and loves helping gorgeous puppies become loyal working guide dogs and reach their full potential. Dr Christine is also a member of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA).
When she’s not working, Dr Christine enjoys playing the piano, ballroom dancing and tending to her rescue plants, in addition to spending quality time with her husband and toddler son Sebastian, who continues to amaze her every day. She also loves spoiling her fur babies, which include her smoochy rescue cat Leo and beautiful (but at times way too cheeky) Angie. Their cuddles and purrs remind her everyday why being a fur-parent is a privilege!

Dr Christine will be away on maternity leave from 17th of March 2022.

Dr. Helen Clyne

Dr Helen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990 with 1st class Honors. In 1999 she gained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine and in 2005 completed Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training through Delta Institute.
Helen has worked in many small animal practices in both Australia and England over the last 30 years and still loves her job. Helen enjoys continuing education and aims to provide high quality patient care, making your pet’s visit as stress free as possible.
Outside of the clinic, Helen enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, cooking, reading, travelling, photography and keeping tropical fish.
At home, Helen’s fur and feathered family includes Buddy the Japanese Spitz, Stanley the cat and Kevin and Misty the cockatiels which have all been adopted from previous homes.

Dr. Ying Zheng

Dr. Ying Zheng


Dr. Ying completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of Melbourne in 2005 before graduating with her Veterinary Science degree in 2009. She began her career in a small animal practice in outer East Melbourne for seven years before she joined the teams at Greencross Box Hill and Ferntree Gully.
Ying is interested in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with a special interest in internal medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Ying enjoys musical theatre, crafts and cake decorating, watching Disney movies with her two children, relaxing and playing golf with her husband and of course cuddling with her fur baby, Bess-Bess the cheeky cat.
