We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine.

Although Greencross Vets is part of a national organisation our practice is run and managed by a team of dedicated vets, nurses and support staff who understand and value the bond between you and your pet. Our team is committed to offering you and your pet’s exceptional service, and the very best in veterinary medicine and preventative health care.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Ultrasound

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

X-ray/Radiology

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Dr Adam Sternberg

Dr Adam Sternberg

“Adam has always wanted to be a vet and growing up with animals made this vision come true.
After graduating from the University of Queensland, Adam has spent the past 14 years in private small animal practice. Part of this time was split with after-hours emergency and critical care work.
Adam enjoys all aspect of veterinary medicine. In particular, he enjoys anaesthesia, internal medicine, critical care and caring for the geriatric family member. In his spare time Adam enjoys gardening, horse riding and spending time with his family.”

Dr Louise Livingston

Dr Louise Livingston

Dr Louise (affectionately known as “Lou”) graduated with honours from Sydney University, the same year as Veterinary Director Dr Nick Taylor!

In the early days, she worked as a General Practitioner vet throughout several rural practices on the mid-north coast of NSW before practicing in the UK for a year.

Folowing a year of locum work in England and Ireland, Lou settled in Port Macquarie and in 2004 purchased her own veterinary hospital.

She remained Owner-Partner at Port Macquarie Veterinary Hospital for 13 years before moving to the Sydney’s Northern Beaches. During her time in Port Macquarie, Louise owned a farm in Lake Innes where she cared for two horses, four dogs, one cat, silky chickens, hermit crabs and stick insects.

Now settled, she currently works full time, sharing her time between Greencross Roseville and Brookvale Veterinary Clincs. Louise enjoys all aspects of small animal general practice. Having a background in science, she enjoys researching all the newest treatment options for your pets

She has three lively children and spends most of her spare time with them. She is also mum to Slinky the cat, a rescue who is aging gracefully with her at home in Dee Why.

Dr Lou is excited about her future as a Veterinary Surgeon on Sydney’s North Shore. She is grateful to be part of an exceptional team of vets, nurses and managers, as well as clients who take such great care of their pets.

Hayley

Hayley

My career started in NZ where I studied vet nursing while working at a busy RSPCA. I moved to Australia 7 years ago and worked as a head nurse in Kalgoorlie WA then Greencross in Noosa QLD. I have now moved to the lovely Northern Beaches and have stayed in the Greencross family as a practice manager. In my spare time I love to travel, go to the gym and explore the outdoors. At home I have a very special rescue cat named Tui.

Jezamin Moore

Jezamin Moore

Entering the Veterinary World at the age of 16, Jezamin has been a junior Veterinary nurse since 2013. Prior to starting at Greencross Vets Brookvale in 2017, she worked at the Ku-ring-gai clinic as an animal attendant and Receptionist. Jezamin Completed her Certificate 2 in animals studies in 2015 and is currently in the process of completing her Certificate IV in Vet nursing. Jezamin has two Dogs named Millie the beagle and Banjo the Pug x. In her spare time she enjoys physical activity, especially boxing, jogging and swimming at the beach.

Samantha Yeates

Samantha Yeates

Samm is a qualified Cert IV Veterinary Nurse and has been nursing at our Greencross Vets Brookvale Clinic for nearly 5 years.
Samm shares her home with her Dalmatian called Scoobie and a tabby cat caller Tiger. In her free time Sam enjoys taking Scoobie Doo on bush walks.

Dr Fiona Radovan

Graduating in 2010, Dr Fiona spent the next few years at a busy practise in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Whilst enjoying all aspects of general veterinary practice, Dr Fiona’s particular interests are in dentistry and animal behaviour, and has a certification in low stress animal handling.

Outside of work, Dr Fiona is an avid traveller, enjoys baking, bushwalking and watching films. She is also the proud owner of an adorable tortoise shell cat named Vivien.

Dr Trudie Vestey

Entering Sydney University Vet school after a stint in the Royal Australian Navy, Trudie realised her lifelong dream of becoming a vet when she graduated in 2006. While she began her career in a busy practice in Sydney’s Inner West, Trudie has worked on the Northern Beaches over the last few years practising as a locum to balance work and family. Trudie enjoys all aspects of clinical work, in particular internal medicine and developing client relationships. In her spare time she plays & coaches hockey, enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her young family.

Emily Dimos

Emily Dimos

Emily has been a nurse at Greencross Brookvale since 2015. She has completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies at Taronga Zoo’s Training Institute in 2013. Following this she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Ultimo Tafe. Whilst doing her Veterinary Nurse course she started as a trainee at Brookvale and was soon hired as a nurse.She has a special interest in surgical nursing but loves all aspects of being a nurse and caring for her patients. She is currently a kitten foster carer for the RSPCA looking after kittens that are too young to be adopted yet. She is also Greencross Brookvale accredited mental  health first aid officer. In her spare time she enjoys bush walks, baking and taking creative classes such a pottery.
