I am from the small country town of Glen Innes in New South Wales. I had many pets growing up and all I’ve ever wanted to do was care and look after animals.
I’m a qualified nurse with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I first started working at Greencross Vets as a student in 2017 and after 12 months, I was employed at the practice as a team member. I have a strong passion for all aspects of my job, its challenging yet also very rewarding. I look forward to making relationships with clients and their pets and working with such a passionate team.
Growing up with a variety of family pets, my passion for animals started from a young age. In 2010, I graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Applied Science (majoring in veterinary technology) and since then have been working in both general and emergency veterinary hospitals. I particularly enjoy the challenge of critical care and emergency nursing and love being able to help my patients in their time of need.
I am a proud owner of three spoilt chickens: Cluck Norris, Roxanne and Fifi.
Jodie has worked as the Varsity Lakes Veterinary Receptionist for over five years and is proud to have developed strong relationships with our clients and their furry companions! She is well known for providing outstanding support to the vets and will always go the extra mile to ensure the greatest care for your pet. Jodie will be away on maternity leave later in the year, but has already expressed her excitement to join the team again in 2015. When she’s not working in the clinic, you will find her spoiling her two fur babies at home named Coda and Spot.
I’ve always been passionate about travelling and spent five years working overseas as a stewardess, where I explored new cities and had overseas adventures. However I missed the sunny shores of the Gold Coast and returned to pursue my other love, pets! I am passionate about preventative medicine and educating pet owners about how to be responsible. It’s a joy to come into work and take care of these furry family members and I look forward to getting my own pet soon!
Chloe began her Vet Nurse training at the young age of 14 through Greencross Vets as school based trainee and absolutely fell in love with the industry. She has a very strong passion for all aspects of her job, including preventative medicine and having a soft spot for the geriatric patients we see in clinic.
She is the proud owner of three cats: Leo the four year old Burmese, Baby the four year old Tonkinese and Koko the 20 year old Tonkinese. When she is not in the clinic hard at work you can find her surfing along main beach, eating acai bowls or spending time with my cats.

Dr Ashleigh Linville
Vet Director at Burleigh Waters – I started as a new graduate with Greencross Vets after graduating in 2014 from the University of Queensland. I have always had a keen interest in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery but in particular I love the challenge of feline medicine. Prior to becoming a vet, I graduated with a Bachelor of Biotechnology with Honours and spent five years in the laboratory doing medical research. I have found my passion as a Veterinarian at Varsity Lakes and love helping owners maintain happy and healthy relationships with their pets! Originally from Canada, I love spending my weekends at the beach enjoying the sunshine with my husband. At home I have a menagerie of pets including my crazy rescued domestic shorthair Abbi, a flock of guinea fowl and a small herd of cattle.
