Tamara Cooper

Veterinary Nurse

Tamara has been part of the team at Greencross Vets since 2018. She has recently moved over from Redbank Plains Greencross Vets to our Camira practice.
When Tamara is not at work She loves spending time at home & the beach with husband & her two fur babies Mia & Toby.
She also loves reading & learning new things.
Her favourite part of the job is assisting in surgeries & finds it very rewarding nursing sick animals back to health again.

Dr. Erin Grundy

Veterinarian

Erin grew up in Canada before moving to New Zealand to attend vet school. After graduation, Erin worked in mixed practice for a few years going to a variety of clinics all over the country before settling on small animal practice. Erin and her family decided to move to Brisbane in January 2022 to be closer to family and becoming a part of the Greencross family. In addition to my two cats, Luna and Gandalf, she is kept busy at home chasing after their one and three year old boys.

Stephanie Buchanan

Veterinary Nurse

Stephanie’s journey with animals began at young age, constantly trying to save every animal her cats would befriend, feeding every stray cat and socialising them then ultimately taking them home. As young adult she started house/pet sitting and feeding for others and have volunteered at Australia Zoo too. Fast forward a few years, she became a mother to a now 4 year old human who is an insect and dinosaur enthusiast and a beautiful rescue Bull Arab X named Holly.

In early 2020 Stephanie was accepted into the Greencross Vets Nurse Internship Program and volunteered at the Ipswich and Silkstone Clinic’s until completion of her Certificate II before finally settling with the Camira clinic. She has a professional interest in anaesthetics and diagnostics, and loves working with the Camira clinic team and getting to know the communities clients and their beloved pet’s.

Kierra Townsend

Veterinary Nurse

In 2020 Kierra achieved her dream career goal in becoming a qualified veterinary nurse, her passion to care for sick or injured animal is what drives her each day.
Away from the clinic, Kierra’s love for animals extends to her own pets and she can often be found taking them to beach, park or visiting family. Occasionally she enjoys a horse ride with some friends but most of the time you’ll find her and her fur family cuddled up on the couch watching tv/movies. Her fur family consist of Ruby-gloom a Rhodesian Ridgeback X Rottweiler, Lu-Lu a Pomeranian X, Buttercup a ginger Domestic Medium Hair, Salem a black Domestic Short Hair, Torvi a Calico Manx X and 3 Wyandotte chickens: Betty, Gertrude and Rogger.

Melinda Wreathall

Veterinary Nurse

I have always held an affinity for animals and after having worked in the corporate world for many years, I decided to take the plunge and pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing. I joined the Greencross Vets team in January 2020 and I am enjoying getting to know all of our clients and their furry family members. Outside of work, my toddler Teddy keeps me busy, along with my Labrador Max, three cheeky cats and six chickens.

Dr Adam Rashleigh

Adam studied Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland, and graduated in 2009 with honours. He then moved to Toowoomba, where he worked for four years at two practices which joined Greencross during his time there. Whilst there he also worked in the after hours practice.
Adam then returned to Brisbane to work at Greencross Silkstone, and Browns Plains. After 8 years with Greencross, he has moved to Camira to a new role as Veterinary Director.
Adam enjoys working alongside pet owners to improve the lives of their pets, and has interest in internal medicine and diagnostics.
He spends much of his time away from work with his dogs Toby, and Milo, who are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Johanna Bengowski

Practice Manager

Johanna has been a Greencross Vets team member for over a decade and has been the practice manager for over 5 years and holds a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.

At home she has a cheeky human son named Chase and her fur children consists of a Jack Russell named Cuda, Maltese x rescue named Ivy, 2 x Burmese cats Chelsea 10yrs and Chip 8 years old, and a Peach Face bird named Heff.
