Meet The Team
I grew up in Adelaide and graduated from Adelaide University in 2014. Since then I have been working in a mix of small animal specialist practice and general practice. My work in specialist practice has exposed me to a lot of work with specialist internists, surgeons, dermatologists, cardiologists, oncologists etc.
I am really passionate about taking care of furry friends and their families and really enjoy the bond that forms between clients and veterinarians over time. My special areas of interest are hormonal problems (often starts as drinking and urinating too much), gut issues and respiratory issues. My own family consists of two cats, Skye and Oscar.
I was born and raised in Perth and have always had a great love of animals from quite a young age. I realised I wanted to be a vet nurse shortly after high school and started working as a vet nurse in 2007. Since then I’ve gained a lot of experience working in a number of clinics in Perth including working as a surgical nurse in a referral practice and also working in a 24-hour emergency hospital. I am now very excited to now be a practice manager for Greencross, here I can use my experience to help create a professional, caring and high quality service for people and their pets. In my spare time I enjoy getting outdoors, taking my dog Maggie to the beach or bushwalking. I also like to paint and draw.
I graduated Veterinary Nursing in 2017 as a mature aged student. After many years of kid wrangling I decided to go back to school and full fill my life long dream of working with animals. As a child I was that kid that would sneak any stray that I could find into our house, one of them, even made it to the local paper. I have a passion for wildlife and reptiles and a love of puppy breath. My menagerie consists of three beautiful human girls, a pug named Gus, George, my pink and grey Galah, Monte the Ragdoll cat and a one eyed Persian named Louie.
I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I studied to be a Vet and, once graduated, I worked during 4 years in private Clinics and at the University Hospital. I was also a volunteer in several research projects with Wildlife Conservation Vets through Argentina and Chile. More than a year ago I moved to Australia and after living in the east coast for a while, I have recently moved to Perth. I have a great passion and love for all animals, domestic and wild, and I enjoy very much being a part of the Greencross family as a Nurse. I’m also volunteering here at Kanyana and Native Arc. In my spare time you will find me at any National Park or wetland bird watching with my partner, hiking, taking photos of nature, or at the beach.

Dr Jade Ridsdale
I was born in Perth, grew up in rural WA and graduated from Murdoch University in 2012, fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming a vet. Since then I have worked in small animal practice in WA, treating
dogs, cats and a range of small animals and wildlife. I love my job and have always been very interested in animals and passionate about their care. What I enjoy most is improving a pet’s quality of life and where I can, the bond between pet and owner. I have a strong interest in animal behaviour (particularly feline) and like to help people to better understand their pets and their needs. My own fur family is composed of our beautiful dog Harley and four lovely cats, complete with unique personalities, Xena, Misty, Link and Kiba.
