Our Services.

Greencross Vets Cannington offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Meet The Team

Philippa Cook

Philippa Cook

Phillipa entered into the animal care industry over a decade ago as she wanted to combine her passion for animal care with her every day occupation. Caring by nature, Phillipa says the best part of her job is having the opportunity to nurse pets back to health from helping to eat, managing their medications to watching them wag their tails as they leave the clinic. I love being there for fur babies and their parents.
Phillipa splits her time as practice manager for both Greencross Vets Booragoon & Cannington where she has to opportunity to get to know pets and pet parents in different areas.
Outside of the clinic she can be found doting on her two beautiful cats, Tao and Emmie, running to keep herself active and riding her motor bike.

Remy started volunteering at the clinic back in 2018 when she was still in high school. She then went on to become our work experience student in 2020 whilst studying her Cert IV in Vet nursing. Once she finished her course, we liked her so much we decided to keep her! She has now come on board with us as a fully fledged vet nurse and is much loved by clients, staff and animals alike. She has an adorable little toy Poodle at home named Rio.

Megan Taylor

I graduated Veterinary Nursing in 2017 as a mature aged student. After many years of kid wrangling I decided to go back to school and full fill my life long dream of working with animals. As a child I was that kid that would sneak any stray that I could find into our house, one of them, even made it to the local paper. I have a passion for wildlife and reptiles and a love of puppy breath. My menagerie consists of three beautiful human girls, a pug named Gus, George, my pink and grey Galah, Monte the Ragdoll cat and a one eyed Persian named Louie.

Dr Jade Ridsdale

Dr Jade Ridsdale

I was born in Perth, grew up in rural WA and graduated from Murdoch University in 2012, fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming a vet. Since then I have worked in small animal practice in WA, treating
dogs, cats and a range of small animals and wildlife. I love my job and have always been very interested in animals and passionate about their care. What I enjoy most is improving a pet’s quality of life and where I can, the bond between pet and owner. I have a strong interest in animal behaviour (particularly feline) and like to help people to better understand their pets and their needs. My own fur family is composed of our beautiful dog Harley and four lovely cats, complete with unique personalities, Xena, Misty, Link and Kiba.
