Greencross Vets Capalaba is reopening!

We have now reopened at a brand new clinic, located with Petbarn!

Our new address is:
227-229 Old Cleveland Road, Capalaba QLD

Just 500m from our old location, our newly built clinic will feature four consult rooms (increased from three), a dedicated surgical theatre and spacious treatment room, a bright and modern reception area and excellent client access – with plenty of parking out the front.

And with a convenient location next to Petbarn – now all your pet care needs will be under one woof!

Our friendly team led by Veterinary Director Dr Cinda Ma and our new Practice Manager Davina Burchell can’t wait to welcome you and our pets!

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Christina Walker

Christina Walker

Veterinary Nurse

Christina is passionate about laboratory and dental work within the veterinary industry, she holds a Diploma of Science which supports her ability to offer pets the highest standard of care.
Christina loves to learn and continues to improve through her continued studies.

Sarah Gregory

Sarah Gregory

Veterinary Nurse

Sarah was born in South Africa and has just recently made the move to Australia. She has lots of experience working with both large and small animals and loves all her patients whether they purr, squeak, or moo!

She holds a Certificate III in Animal Studies and is currently working towards her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is also Fear Free Certified and loves using gentle handling techniques to reduce patient stress. Patient care is her passion!

She has two furry babies: a Rottweiler called Buddy, and a geriatric feline called Leo.

Tina Nguyen

Tina Nguyen

Veterinarian

Tina graduated from The University of Queensland and has been working in small animal practice in various hospitals and clinics throughout the Brisbane region before discovering the lovely Redlands region. Tina is very passionate about preventative care and fear-free handling and aims to provide the best care she can for all her patients and their families. She has particular interest in dermatology, behaviour and dentistry, as well as a healthy obsession for all things feline. She is mum and servant to four rescue cats, Daisy, Colette, Leonard and Murphy as well as a beloved Border Collie named Niko. Tina loves meeting new clients and is looking forward to getting to know the local community and their pets.

Veterinary Director

Dr Cindy Ma graduated from the University of Queensland with 1st class honours in 2015. She joined our Greencross Graduate Program right after graduation and has previously based at the Woolloongabba clinic.
Dr Cindy is now the vet director of Greencross Capalaba and is dedicated in teaching and training staffs to provide high standards of veterinary care. She has a wide range of interests including surgery, ultrasonography, CT imaging and emergency medicine. She loves her job because she is able to help animals and people in need. Dr Cindy is fluent in three languages: English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Outside work you’ll find her cuddling up with her two adopted cats: Mela and Nala.

Austen Ann

Veterinarian

Dr. Austen grew up in Malaysia until he was 15. He finished the last couple years of his high school journey in Brisbane and graduated with Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) from the University of Queensland in 2022. He enjoys all areas of Veterinary Science with a strong passion in anaesthesia, surgery, and dentistry. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, rock climbing and playing badminton with friends and family. He is passionate about animals and will do his best to make the world a happier place through the love of pets. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Davina Burchell

Davina Burchell

Veterinary Nurse

Davina joined Greencross Vets as a Vet Nurse in November 2020, having completed her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing. Davina loves animals and has also been a foster parent for the RSPCA as well as working on their Animal Ambulance, for a number of years. Davina loves all animals and loves to assist her clients in helping their pets to maintain a healthy weight for long term health.
Davina has recently joined the team at Greencross Capalaba as Practice Manager and is looking forward to meeting new clients, the local Capalaba community and helping them with their pets.
In her spare time Davina enjoys spending time with her dog Buddy, cat Lola and the any number of foster animals that are in her home at the time.

Dr. Anna Morris

Dr. Anna Morris

Anna graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2017 and has joined the Capalaba team after working in small animal practice in Sydney for the last few years. She really enjoys all aspects of working with dogs and cats but has a keen interest in surgical procedures. Patient care is Anna’s passion and she enjoys communicating with and educating clients to help owners understand their pets’ problems and ensure their best possible care. Outside the clinic, Anna likes getting creative through painting and cooking but her favourite past time is cuddling with her Italian greyhound “Herbie”!

Dr Stacey Morgan Bsvc

Dr Stacey Morgan Bsvc

Stacey studied her Veterinary medicine degree at the University of Liverpool in the UK, and graduated in 2016. She spent the first 2 years of her career working in a busy animal hospital in the north of England, before going on a working holiday adventure to Australia. 2 years later and she’s still here!
Stacey started working for Greencross Vets Capalaba in June 2020 after deciding to base herself in Brisbane.
Although Stacey doesn’t currently have any pets she regularly steals cuddles from everyone else’s fur babies, especially from her favourite breed: Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
In her spare time you will find Stacey exploring her new home country, or at CrossFit.

Debbie

Debbie

Debbie is our Professional Groomer here at Greencross Capalaba. She has worked in the industry for over four years and is certified through the Pet Stylist Academy. Debbie is passionate about the health and wellbeing of all of her furry companions. She has two fur babies of her own, Merlin a shitzu x poodle and Bodie a Bischon Frise. Debbie works next door every Tuesday to Thursday, by appointment. If these days don’t suit you however, please call Debbie to arrange for a more suitable time.

Kayleigh Walker

Kayleigh Walker

Kayleigh has been a Veterinary Nurse since 2006 and has always had a strong passion for the best care and wellbeing of her patients and their pet parents. She’s been working as Capalaba’s Puppy School trainer for the past four years and takes great pride in training puppies to be the best they can be! She was promoted to the role of Practice Manager 2015 for her high standards of care and attention. Kayleigh has two fur babies named Oskar the ragdoll and Mishka the malamute.
