We provide modern, professional and affordable health care for your pets. We aim to make your pet feel at ease in our clinic with a caring and gentle approach to treatment and consultations. Our nursing staff and veterinarians are all passionate about pets and avid animal lovers. We understand the importance of providing a caring and stress-free experience when you visit us. We have a separate area in the waiting room which is designated for our feline friends, so your cat can have a stress-free experience.

We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine. Our hospital is well equipped with a spacious reception area. three consultation rooms, a hospital and treatment area, two anaesthetic machines, advanced monitoring equipment, dedicated sterile surgical theatre and diagnostic pathology equipment.

We have a great, close-knit team of vets and nurses, and we are dedicated to providing the highest standards of care for our patients. We are very supportive of each other and love doing fun team building activities together outside of work too! We enjoy coming to work and look forward to welcoming you to our clinic!

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Grooming

Don’t have your own clippers? Let us take care of dog grooming for you. Our clinic offers premium dog grooming for your pet.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

Puppy Primary School

This eight-week training program is designed for owners who would like to continue their education and socialisation, or for those who may have missed out on puppy school.

Canine University

Canine Commandos is a five-session dog training class for dogs aged between five and nine months. Older dogs may be able to join on request, please contact us today.

Sarah Grinblat

Sarah Grinblat

Head Veterinary Nurse

Starting November 2022, Sarah is the newest member of the Caulfield South Veterinary Nursing Team, as the Head nurse. Sarah holds her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. While she enjoys developing relationships with all pets and their families, Sarah has a special interest in animal behaviour, senior pet care and wildlife.
At home, Sarah is the mum to cheeky feline “Bean”, whom she hand raised from two days of age, who is a constant source of amusement and chaos!
When not at work, Sarah loves to travel, especially if that can involve scuba diving or snowboarding!

Veterinary Director

Dr Kathy was born in Korea where she spent the first sixteen years of her life. Growing up, she always had pets and often brought in stray animals to look after. She moved to Canada and the first Bachelor’s degree at University of Guelph in Animal Biology. Pursuing her dream of becoming a vet, she moved to Australia in 2010 to study veterinary science at University of Melbourne. Upon completion of the veterinary degree in 2013, Dr Kathy started working at RSPCA dealing with both shelter and private animals. After a few years, she moved to a private practice in Port Melbourne and also started locuming for various clinics including an emergency clinic, which widened her perspectives. After a few years of full time locuming around Metro Melbourne and rural Victoria clinics, Dr Kathy decided to pursue her passion in management and leadership at Greencross Caulfield South in 2019.
Currently, she lives with three rescue cats, her husband and a kid who is a wrecking ball. Dr Kathy is passionate about nurturing the triad of pet-vet-client relationships, internal medicine and mentorship for the future vets.

Terri is a mum to three amazing young men and she enjoys watching them play cricket at their local club where she is the secretary.
When Terri is not at work she enjoys volunteering for Beagle Rescue Victoria ensuring all dogs are cared for and have a safe place to call home with a full tummy and all the medical care they need.
Terri started fostering for Beagle Rescue Victoria in 2014 and has became a foster failure to many including Rosie and Nellie.
Terri began her career with Greencross in 2021 as a volunteer shadowing our nurses once a week, quickly Terri picked up what it was to be a trainee veterinary nurse & was offered a job in October 2021. Terri is currently studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, aiming to complete by mid 2023.

Takako is crazy about dogs. She has finished her dog grooming course at Box Hill TAFE 2012 then moved into completing her Certificate IV in Companion Animals Services (Puppy/Juvenile dog training and obedience class) in 2015. Takako started working with our clinic in 2015 & has loved every minute of it! Takako aims to offer low stress grooming for all dogs of all breeds and sizes. Japanese is Takako’s first language, with English & dog language following in a close second, Takako enjoys being with her meat-ball dog Tenten, the staffy, on the weekends. She has also raised two guide dog puppies in her spare time. Takako work Tuesdays to Fridays at our clinic, feel free to call us to book a grooming appointment

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Lexi is currently studying a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University and plans to become a veterinarian. Lexi began at Greencross Caulfield South as a volunteer once a week in 2022 and has since become a trainee veterinary nurse to be mentored in all aspects of veterinary practice training by the senior staff at the clinic.

Lexi appreciates the bonds that owners have for their animals and enjoys chatting and getting to know our clients. Lexi cherishes every day that she gets to care for all the different animals that come into our clinic, as well as her fur baby cavoodle at home, Belle.

Jessica Galloway

Jessica joined the team at Greencross Caulfield South as a volunteer in 2018 while studying for her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is now a fully qualified vet nurse and works full time with the team at the clinic. At home Jessica has a growing collection of exotic animals – the newest member being her bobtail cat Mr Weasley and she has an even larger collection of exotic house plants!

Veterinarian
Angela’s love for animals began early, with her childhood spent caring for various pets including cats, dogs, a turtle, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs and a rat named Tifla. She graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2011, and subsequently worked full time at Karingal Hospital for several years. After taking maternity leave to start her family, Angela returned to her professional career, joining Greencross Caulfield South in early 2019. Angela lives locally with her husband, two daughters and two senior pussy cats, Charlotte (18) and Anya (11).

Veterinarian
Ingrid graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008. She has worked in emergency, welfare and small animal practice in both Australia and the U.K. Ingrid has two beautiful Burmese cats, Archie and Coco, and is kept busy with her naughty chocolate Labrador called Charli. Outside of work, Ingrid enjoys getting outdoors either hiking or taking the dog to the beach. Charli loves swimming and usually needs a few treats to entice her to come home. Ingrid is a valuable addition to the team in 2018!

Dr. Rebecca Biljna

Rebecca was raised in an animal loving family in Dandenong.
She started working at Caulfield South in 2001, shortly after graduating from Melbourne University as a Veterinarian. After a very enjoyable three years working full time at the clinic, she left to start a family.
 Rebecca has continued to return for periods of time and love reconnecting with familiar patients and owners and of course meet new ones. She currently lives with my husband, three children, and of course her furry family too!

Practice Manager

Hannah has always been a part of the Caulfield community growing up and going to school locally, she started with Greencross Caulfield South when she was in year 10 (2011) as a work experience student, volunteering once a week until her first year at Uni in 2014 where she started as a trainee Veterinary Nurse.
During this time, she has completed her Bachelor’s degree in animal science in 2017 and Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Science in 2019. Hannah loves working at Caulfield South and maintaining relationship with the community and working with animals has always been the dream. September 2021 Hannah has taken the Practice Manager roll for the team & she loves every moment of it, being able to continue that family friendly vet clinic is very important to our team.
Hannah has two dogs, Marli and Greg, two cats, Mamacat & Ozzie, plus chickens and foster animals. In her spare time, she plays basketball, gardens, volunteers with Beagle Rescue Victoria and goes bush camping with her dogs and partner Ben.

Jennine Dunne

Jennine studied her Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing at Athlone Institute of Technology, in Ireland. Upon finishing, she took the plunge and moved her life to Australia in 2014, where she started working at Greencross Vets Glen Eira, with Kate. Moving across to the Caulfield South clinic, she quickly fell in love with her patients from Beagle Rescue Victoria, and now shares her home with a number of foster dogs. Jennine mostly works at a local specialist centre, however loves working casually to ensure she still sees her regular patients. When she’s not in-clinic, Jennine enjoys playing Gaelic football, exploring with her American Staffie Briggs and cuddling her cheeky black cat named Batman.

Veterinary Nurse

Jodie started working at Greencross Caulfield South at the start of 2015 as a trainee veterinary nurse. Since starting this career path, she has never looked back. Although sometimes the job can be tough, it is so rewarding and there is nothing else she would rather do. Jodie has finished her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification and hopes to one day complete a Diploma to further her knowledge. She has a keen interest in wildlife, particularly possums, and loves caring for the ringtail babies that come through each spring. Jodie and her partner currently have a young Labrador named ‘Pip’ who is constantly keeping them on their toes with her naughty antics!
