Hi, my name’s Tiffany – I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Before that, I completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of British Columbia, in Canada where I was born and raised. My special interests are behaviour and surgery, which are very diverse but that’s why I love being a veterinarian – the multitude of different skills I get to use is amazing. I have two rescued ginger cats named Nugget and Marmalade, who are brothers. Outside of my veterinary pursuits, I’m an avid baker – I love utilising food science to make sweet creations

Hi, I’m Nadia and I feel privileged to be the Vet Director at Greencross Coburg. I was born and raised in the small island nation of Mauritius, which is where I discovered my passion for animals. I grew up with a constant menagerie of pets consisting of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, fish, terrapins to name a few; all while picking up many strays to add to my ‘collection’ as well as volunteering with a shelter and one of the few wildlife conservation NGOs of the island at the time. I later moved to South Africa where I studied zoology and ecology at the University of Cape Town. During that time, I was lucky to be involved with many projects, the most exciting one being tracking Chacma Baboons in the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Over a decade ago, I relocated to Australia where I spent several years studying and working as a vet in Western Australia before moving to the East coast in 2015. I focus on dogs and cats having a special interest in surgery and dentistry, but I am happy to treat rabbits, guinea pigs and small birds for routine concerns. I am currently the happy ‘mom’ of two domestic short hair cats named Bagheera and A-G and when I am not spending time with them I enjoy crafts, op-shopping and live music amongst the many things Melbourne has to offer. I am thrilled to have recently joined the Greencross team and I am looking forward to meeting all your fur-babies in our fantastic brand new hospital!
It didn’t take me long to figure out what my life career goal was to involve – ANIMALS!! At the tender age of five years, I was effectively, thoroughly & unconditionally obsessed with animals. Growing up, my mother was a tremendous influence & inspiration to me, with both my parents astonished at my conviction & persistence to having never wavered in my career choice. My love & appreciation of all animals is no cliche. You couldn’t show me an animal I wouldn’t love and I am quite emotional & empathetic around animals. I feel what I imagine, they are feeling. I put myself in their place & try to imagine their pain, their fear, their thoughts. This is why I am totally confident in my career choice. I am originally from Perth in Western Australia and have been working with animals at Veterinary Hospitals since I was 13 years old. I graduated from Applied Vocational Training as a Veterinary Nurse in 2009 and I have worked in various types of specialist hospitals, from general clinics to emergency hospitals which require quick acting, thinking & assessments. Even with the sadness that inevitably comes with this industry, I have always felt that I could make a difference. I have been honoured to have grown up with a Siamese cat (Kiesha) & a Staffy (Amber). Both of these animals shaped me & provided me with life lessons, with memories that will see me through for many years. My current Zoo comprises of 4 Black & Tan short haired Mini – Dachshunds (Sausage Dogs) & a Corgi cross Jack Russell rescue. I also have a Lilac Point Siamese and two Siamese rescues.
