I’ve been at Greencross Vets Craigieburn from the very beginning of opening, June 2019. I have always been extremely passionate about all animals and am constantly learning and trying to become the best nurse that I can be. I completed my Certificate IV in Vet Nursing in 2020 and hope to continue my studies in the animal industry in the near future. On my days off I am kept very busy at home with my own 3 dogs and 5 cats, I also enjoy taking on stray kittens to help find their forever homes
From a young age, I have always loved animals and had a passion to provide care and love for them. I started working as a school-based trainee with Greencross in Townsville when I was 15years old. Throughout my traineeship, I managed to secure extra weekend shifts to further expand my knowledge and grow as a junior nurse. I also dedicated my time to local rescues and fostered many orphaned kittens until they were fit to find forever homes. After completing high school, I started to study my Certificate IV and completed this in 2016. During this time, I worked as the head-nurse in our first co-location in Townsville before moving to Melbourne in late 2019. Since joining the Craigieburn Team in 2020, I have had the pleasure of working with a great team, continuing with the development of my clinical skills, with hopes of completing my Diploma in the future, and training/supporting new interns with their journey to starting their nursing degree. I live at home with our chocolate Labrador Toby, Stitch our Staffy x, Frankie our Maltese x and Gremlin and Space Captain our two cats. In my spare time you’ll find me studying for my BA at university, spending time with my partner and spending time with my plants.
Nekitta is just beginning her Vet Nursing career and is currently undergoing studies in Certificate II Animal Handling. Nekitta Has had exposure to a variety of animals throughout her life and currently

As well as her dedication to the care of animals Nekitta also spends her free time volunteering for the State Emergency Service serving ad assisting her community.
Nekitta is excited and passionate for what is to come as she moves into her studies for Certificate IV and her Vet Nursing career.

Dr Daniela Elders
Dr Daniela Elders
Dr Daniela Elders was born in Germany, raised in Spain, and lived and studied in the United States. At the age of 5, Dr Daniela went to her local vet with her mum and watched the vet help her “big brother” Rex (a Doberman). She turned to her mum and said: “this is what I want to do, … I want to be a vet, … I want to save animals”. She never gave up on that dream, got her Bachelor degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and finally earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University, USA, in 2015. In 2018 she moved 17.500 km to the other side of the world to live here in Australia, and has never regretted coming to this great country with its wonderful people. She feels blessed to be here.
Her favourite parts of the job are to tailor treatments and nutrition to each patient according to their diagnosis, providing excellent patient care, focusing on each pet as if it was her own, and helping each animal become the happiest and healthiest they can be. To make sure she provides the most PAWsitive experience, all patients get lots of love.
Dermatology cases seem to be following her around like a rash (pun intended) but she loves the challenge. She also loves Cardiology since her dog Bobby died of Congestive Heart Failure which makes heart conditions close to her heart.
In her free time Daniela likes to cuddle with her cats, go to the gym, cook, travel, and watch documentaries.
