Dr Fiona P

Veterinary Associate

Dr Fiona graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2022. After working in companion animal practice in South Africa, she made the move to Australia and has continued pursuing her passion for caring for pets and the people who love them. Her professional interests include feline medicine and ultrasonography, and she particularly enjoys working through complex medical cases and helping patients live happy, healthy lives. Dr Fiona is also passionate about creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners during every visit.

Outside of work, Fiona enjoys reading, staying active and spending time outdoors, including the occasional hike. She is currently enjoying reformer Pilates and is a proud cat mum to a Maine Coon and a Domestic Longhair, who keep her thoroughly entertained at home.

Charmaine D

Veterinary Nurse

Charmaine is a Senior Certificate IV veterinary nurse with 16yrs experience. She joined the industry in 2009 then not long after was with Greencross vets and has enjoyed it ever since! She is passionate about client education, senior pet care and animal physical therapy. Charmaine is qualified in canine remedial massage and has experience in both hydrotherapy and animal rehabilitation.

Outside of animal care, she enjoys time with her partner and daughter, outdoor activities, movies and live music.

Kirstain N

Practice Manager

Kirstain first joined the Greencross Vets family through our amazing internship program and was based in NSW with the Five Dock team. Since starting in the industry Kirstain has worked in numerous clinics across VIC and NSW and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in multiple roles and earned the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Kirstain has become a vital part of our nursing team, driven by her passion for pet health and well-being, as well as a keen interest in understanding behaviours. She loves to learn, takes pride in supporting all those around her, and has a strong thirst for knowledge.
When not at work Kirstain spends time with her husband, son and three pets, a Golden Retriever named Ruby and two cats, Ziva and Luna. She also enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors, reading and keeping busy

Jenna R

Veterinary Nurse

Jenna is a passionate Vet Nurse with a Certificate II in Animal Studies and is currently pursuing her Certificate IV through Box Hill. She has been dedicated to this field since beginning as a Veterinary Nurse Intern in 2021. Since 2022 she has been working across Morwell, Pakenham and is now a permanent part of the team at Greencross Cranbourne.

She shares her home with her Dalmation Teddy, Border Collie Harvey and two cats Hank and Taco. Her love for animals drives her commitment to providing the best possible care and she enjoys learning and growing alongside a fantastic team. She hopes to specialize in a specific area of Vet Nursing but hasn’t decided which field yet!

Dr Braam S

Veterinary Director

Braam qualified as a vet in South Africa in 2019. He has worked as a state veterinarian, conservation veterinarian and in companion animal clinics in South Africa until he immigrated to Australia in 2022. He is interested in a range of different disciplines, but is currently focusing his attention on diagnostic imaging as he is undertaking a membership in radiology in the near future. His other veterinary interests include internal medicine, aquatic medicine and zoo medicine.

Outside of the clinical environment, Braam enjoys the outdoors, especially skiing and other adventure activities, but he’s comfortable indoors where he enjoys movies and gaming. He also loves being creative.

Jessica A

Practice Manager

Jess is a senior Veterinary Nurse and Practice Manager with over 10 years experience in the industry. With a strong focus on animal welfare and clinic culture, she endeavors to make the clinic a safe space for our patients, clients and the team.

Outside of the clinic, Jess enjoys singing in a cover band and spending time with her partner and kids, Baby and Joey the greyhounds as well as her two legged toddler, Maggie.

Victoria L

Veterinary Nurse

Victoria is a Junior Veterinary Nurse studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE Gippsland and a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at La Trobe University, with a goal of becoming a veterinarian.

Victoria has a special interest in microbiology and pathology in clinic, as well as providing care through surgical procedures.

In her spare time, Victoria loves reading, listening to new music and playing with her fur babies – Sophie the dog and her new member of the family, Leo the cat.
