Kylie

Kylie

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Kylie (pictured here with our regular patient Belly) began her journey in veterinary nursing in 2007 while studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE Yallah. That same year, she proudly joined the Crown Street family, where her passion for animal care truly took root.
Since graduating she has worked in general practice for over 18 years, with a brief but valuable period spent in emergency care. She has been incredibly fortunate to build a rewarding career—one that has allowed her to meet and care for so many of your beloved furry family members. From their early days as playful fluff balls into their golden years. She is honoured to support their health, nutritional needs, and wellbeing, including guiding families through the sensitive time of palliative care.

Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles within the clinic which have shaped her knowledge of the community: beginning as a junior nurse, growing into a senior nurse, mentoring junior staff, and eventually stepping into the role of practice manager.
In recent years, Kylie has chosen to step back from management and move into part-time work as the Senior Vet Nurse to focus on raising her three children. She’s currently embracing this special time with them, making sure not to let it rush by, being present and truly appreciating the everyday moments.
