“In 2015, I started my Certificate II in Animal Studies and completed it in September of 2016. Once I have finished my schooling, I aim to start my Certificate IV in Vet Nursing to become a fully qualified vet nurse. I started working here at Greencross part-time after completing my Cert II where I get to play with puppies, kittens and save the world one animal at a time! I have lived in Townsville my whole life and love spending time playing sport and exploring the outdoors; while also enjoying spending time with my large fur-baby Nutmeg (horse).
After spending lots of time as a part of the Greencross team.
I have discovered a passion for puppy preschool, emergencies, surgery and customer service as well as a newfound interest in cats which I was never expecting!”

“I graduated from JCU in 2014 and have been a part of the local Greencross team ever since.
I grew up in Townsville and I am the youngest of eight children. In my spare time I love fishing, gardening and taking my dog to the beach. I have always been fascinated and amazed by animals growing up, and I have worked in the veterinary industry since I was 15. I love my pets and I endeavor to treat each patient as if they were my own. I can appreciate that love comes in all shapes, sizes and doesn’t just have fur. The best part of my job is seeing the improvement in a patient that presents to the clinic very unwell. It’s so fulfilling to know that I have helped this beautiful pet get back to enjoying life.”
