Sonya graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology and a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Sonya works at both Greencross Vets Jindalee and the Animal Referral Hospital, where she is a part of the emergency nursing team. Currently, Sonya is studying a Bachelor of Nursing and will one day nurse both the animal and humankind.
At home, she rescued a standard dachshund named Pey who can be a bit of a handful at the best of times, however, is a very loved part of the family.
Katy completed her clinical placement for her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing through Greencross Jindalee and was asked to stay on as staff after her completion. She is very eager to learn new skills especially in surgery, helping monitor patients during their procedures and giving extra love during their recovery.
Katy is a pet parent to Bailey the Staffy Cross, who is a bundle of energy! On the weekends they can both be found enjoying the beach and nearby parks.

In her spare time, Jacinda enjoys going to the gym, rock climbing and plant-based cooking.
Dr. Meg Vazey
Dr. Meg Vazey
After many years in the Veterinary industry as a nurse, Dr Meg decided she wanted to have a go at holding the scalpel herself. Heading to vet school to learn the trade, she graduated with honours from the University of Queensland. She joined the team at Greencross Vets Jindalee in 2020 and enjoys ensuring her patients are relaxed and spoilt whilst in her care. Meg has a special interest in surgery and exploring adjunctive pain control therapies for our golden oldies.
Outside work, she can be found co-habiting with her 2 delightfully disobedient rescue cats, her adopted senior pup and loves camping with her husband and their 3 non-fur kids

Dr Kerry Carman
Dr Kerry graduated from The University of Queensland in 2015 and has been working as a Vet with Greencross ever since. She started her veterinary career as a nurse at Greencross Vets Redbank Plains and transferred to the Jindalee clinic soon after graduating.
Kerry enjoys all aspects of being a Veterinarian and has special interests in ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. One of the highlights of her job is getting to experience and see the bonds clients form with their pets.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys relaxing with her cat, Percy (who started life as a sick stray kitten brought into the Jindalee clinic), and going for walks with the family dog, Jax.
Jess is one of the Senior Veterinary Nurses here at Greencross Vets Jindalee. Jess started her career here as a volunteer student and was fortunate enough to be offered a full time position where she completed her studies as a Vet Nurse, 7 years later and she’s still here and loving her job every day. Nursing is her absolute passion and she couldn’t see herself in any other profession. Outside of work, Jess is a mother to two beautiful little girls Miss G & Miss B and of course two tiny fur babies as well, Chihuahuas Billy and Sophie.
