Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Meet The Team

Stacey J

Stacey J

Stacey was born in England, raised in New Zealand, and now proudly calls Western Australia home. Outside of work, she enjoys life with her beautiful standard poodle, Lincoln, and is a new mum to baby Henry, who keeps her on her toes. When time allows, she also loves getting out on the golf course for a round or two.

With a lifelong passion for animals of all shapes and sizes, Stacey has been a dedicated and compassionate registered veterinary nurse for over 10 years. Her career has seen her work in fast-paced general practice clinics as well as emergency and critical care environments. Since May 2023, she has been a valued member of the Greencross Joondalup team.

Stacey has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and is also working with the Dentistry Department at WAVES. She is also passionate about anaesthesia, particularly in senior pets, and is committed to improving patient outcomes involving specific and tailored pet care. Stacey takes pride in educating pet owners about the importance of oral health and overall wellbeing, ensuring both pets and their humans feel supported every step of the way.

Orla H

Orla Healy, veterinary nurse who graduated with a Bachelor  of Science  degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2020 from Athlone Institute of Technology. Originally from Ireland but moved to Australia back in September to work in a completely new country and further her career as a veterinary nurse. Orla started in Greencross vets in Joondalup back in  March. She has a keen interest in anaesthesia and radiology and is very passionate towards giving the highest standard of care to any animal that walks through the door. 

Outside of work Orla really enjoys going to the gym/running,  going to the beach as Ireland doesnt have many beaches and exploring WA as she has only been in Australia for 8 months. Orla hopes to complete a certificate in anaesthesia in the future. 

Madi B

Madi B

Madison began her veterinary nursing journey with Greencross Vets as a student in 2023 and proudly graduated in 2024 with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Growing up surrounded by a wide range of animals—from dogs and cats to frogs, rats, rabbits, and ferrets—she developed a deep love and respect for all creatures from an early age.

With a lifelong passion for animal welfare, becoming a veterinary nurse has always been Madison’s dream. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of care and compassion to every patient she meets.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys spending time with her dog Jasper, especially going for walks or visiting the beach. She also loves cooking, watching movies while cuddling her cat Mixy, working on puzzles, and getting lost in a good book.

Dr Ella S

Dr Ella is a Perth local, who graduated from Murdoch University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 and joined the Greencross team shortly after. Dr Ella had a deep appreciation for animals from a young age, growing up with horses, birds, dogs, and cats. Her passion for animal welfare and love of learning made veterinary medicine a natural career choice. As a new graduate, Dr Ella is enjoying the opportunity to gain broad experience across all aspects of general practice while she develops her clinical interests.

Outside of work, Dr Ella enjoys spending time with friends and family, doing Pilates, hiking, reading, and travelling whenever she can.

Dr Zheng (Zane)

Veterinarian

Graduated from Murdoch University WA in 2020, Zane has worked in different states of Australia, from Victoria to Greencross Kippa-Ring in Queensland. Missing the quiet lifestyle of Western Australia, Zane has returned and started working at Greencross Joondalup; providing unique insights from his experience into helping pets and owners with their problem.
In clinic, you can find Zane cheerful smile giving the best care to his patients; striving to provide a stress-free experience for your pets and furry babies.
Out of work, Zane enters his introvert mode to read light novels and play video games at home. Some of the games he played are: The Legend of Zelda, God of War, Metaphor: ReFantazio etc

I’m a veterinarian at Greencross Joondalup, having been part of the team since 2022. I have a strong interest in both small animal medicine and animal behaviour. I’m committed to providing the highest standard of care for my patients, always focusing on the best outcomes for each pet. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, mountain biking, and competing in scentwork trials with my dog Squid.

I’m a certified animal lover with a Certificate III in Animal Care. I share my life with two playful ferrets and a chocolate Labrador named Tawny, who keeps me on my toes and always smiling. I thrive in the sunshine and cherish time spent with my animals and friends—whether it’s a lazy afternoon in the yard or a sunny adventure outdoors.

Practice manager/vet nurse

Jade began her journey over five years ago as a work experience student with Greencross and for the past five years she has been a registered Veterinary Nurse. She took on the role as Practice manager at Greencross Joondalup 2 years ago.

Jade loves coming to work every day knowing how rewarding it will be and that no one day is the same as the next. She is a proud pet parent to cats Avocado and Kewpie and she has a family Staffy and cat, Jessie and Bruce. When she is not in the clinic, Jade can be found catching up with friends, at the gym and spending time with her family in Lancelin where she grew up.

I have been working as a nurse since 2018 with the amazing team at Greencross Joondalup. My partner and I live with our kelpie x – Bear, and our two chickens – Penny & Patricia. Outside of work we love to go camping with our dog and spend lots of time outdoors. I have loved being a part of the Joondalup team and couldn’t ask for a better place to work.

Veterinary Nurse and Puppy trainer
Cindy has been with our clinic ever since we opened in 1990. After having a few years off to raise a family she returned to the team. Cindy has a wealth of knowledge in showing dogs, breeding, animal healthcare and behaviour. She recently adopted a Cavalier called “Lady” a Ragdoll x called “Misty” and a Bengal called “Macey”.

Born in the UK, Dr Sheryl moved to Perth in 2013, in search of a better way of life and better weather! She has been with Greencross Vets Joondalup since the clinic opened in 2018, and continues to be dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of care and clinical excellence within the clinic.  She is passionate about all aspects of veterinary care, especially surgery and geriatric medicine, and has a particular interest in the health and welfare of brachycephalic dogs. In her spare time, she loves enjoying the outdoor lifestyle with her son, and has just recently started trail and ultra marathon running.
