Our Services.

Greencross Vets Joondalup offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Ultrasound

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

X-ray/Radiology

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Meet The Team

Robert Ireton

Robert Ireton

Hi, I’m Rob and I’m fresh on the scene, as I graduated with my Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV qualification in 2022. Although, you may have seen my face before (I did my practical training with Greencross Joondalup in 2021). If I haven’t met you yet, I can’t wait to meet you and all your fluffy family members! We currently have three feline family members at our house, Rueben, Charlie and Rocky.

Emma Mallia

Emma Mallia

Practice Manager

Emma has been working with Greencross Vets for six years, beginning her journey at Ocean Reef clinic as a student nurse. She now works at the Ocean Reef and Joondalup clinics as Practice Manager and loves having the opportunity to work with two amazing teams. At home she has a gorgeous staffy named Bella and two cheeky cats named Harli and Archie. When I am not at the clinic, you will find her at the gym, camping, or out and about with friends.

I graduated from Murdoch University and have worked in 13 different countries throughout my career. I have over 30 years’ experience with anything from eagles to cattle to dogs and cats. At home I have a very active 3 year old mastiff x called Ajax, and a 21 year old Swedish Forest cat called Methana. In my spare time I enjoy scuba diving and looking after my bee hives.

Annie Wells

Annie Wells

I have been working as a nurse since 2018 with the amazing team at Greencross Joondalup. My partner and I live with our kelpie x – Bear, and our two chickens – Penny & Patricia. Outside of work we love to go camping with our dog and spend lots of time outdoors. I have loved being a part of the Joondalup team and couldn’t ask for a better place to work.

Cindy Ridden

Cindy Ridden

Veterinary Nurse and Puppy trainer
I have been with our clinic ever since we opened in 1990. After having a few years off to raise a family I returned to the team. I have wealth of knowledge in showing dogs, breeding, animal healthcare and behaviour. I recently adopted a Cavalier called “Lady” a Ragdoll x called “Misty” and a Bengal called “Macey”.

Dr Sheryl Kidd

Dr Sheryl Kidd

I grew up in the UK, and graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Bristol University in 2003. After a couple of years doing mixed practice in rural Leicestershire I decided to concentrate on small animal medicine and surgery. I spent 3 years running a small branch clinic, then moved to a large surgical referral clinic where I spent the next 6 years. I moved to Perth in 2013, in search of a better way of life, (and better weather!) I am passionate about all aspects of veterinary care, especially surgery and geriatric medicine. In my spare time, I love to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with my son.
