I graduated from the University of Pretoria/Onderstepoort at the end of 2004. It was also in this time that I met my wife as we both studied together. We both then worked in the UK for 6y before moving to Australia in 2010. I have been working in Perth for the last 8 years before starting with Greencross Joondalup. I love every aspect of being a general practice veterinary surgeon. You never know what will walk through the door so it keeps your day very interesting. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 2 boys and try to get away for camping as much as possible.

I grew up in the UK, and graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Bristol University in 2003. After a couple of years doing mixed practice in rural Leicestershire I decided to concentrate on small animal medicine and surgery. I spent 3 years running a small branch clinic, then moved to a large surgical referral clinic where I spent the next 6 years. In 2013, myself and my husband moved to Perth, and since then I have worked in several clinics in and around Perth. I am passionate about all aspects of veterinary care, especially soft tissue surgery and geriatric medicine. In my spare time, I am kept very busy organising continuing education courses for vets and nurses, walking my Chihuahuas, and enjoying the outdoor lifestyle with my husband and son.
I have been working with Greencross for 2 years and recently moved from the Ocean Reef clinic into the Practice Manager role at Greencross Joondalup, I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and have a great love for animals and their healthcare. Practice Management is a new role for myself but I have dived in head first and thoroughly love my work everyday. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, being with my animals, getting away to camp and explore and also enjoy the gym and Muay Thai.
I started working in the industry in 2012 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2015. I have just started working at Greencross Joondalup after returning to Australia from 2 years of working and travelling overseas. I love all aspects of nursing but have a keen interest in surgical nursing and looking after in patients. I have a very handsome 6 year old cat called Harry and enjoy being out and about in my spare time.
Always working towards a career with animals, I completed my BSc in Animal Science in Plymouth, England. In 2013 I moved to Perth Australia and began working and studying towards my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Before joining Greencross Joondalup I had worked in several clinics throughout Perth, as well as supporting certificate IV students through their own learning journey at a private vet nursing college. I absolutely love being a part of something incredible and making a difference, no matter how big or small. I made a goal to spend time every year volunteering my skills to a charity in need. Last year was a dog rescue centre in Goa, India. This year I am heading to Chiang Mai – Thailand for a spay and neuter project as well as the chance to help at the elephant retirement village. I love my role here at Greencross Joondalup, I really enjoy building that relationship with clients and their pets to be able to provide the best advice in healthcare. I am privileged to work beside such great vets and nurses who also share that passion for animal health and delivering client satisfaction.
