Meet The Team
Misty is originally from California, USA. With a degree in both Biology (BS) and Psychology (BA), Misty’s professional background varies from academic research to clinical psychology. Upon moving to the Sunshine Coast with her Australian partner in 2017, Misty took the opportunity to pursue a career change as a Vet Nurse to better align her obtained skills and knowledge with a cause she was deeply passionate about. Whether it be a big or small act, assisting in an emergency treatment or simply filling a water bowl, Misty loves being a vet nurse because it allows her to make a difference in a life every single day. When she is not at the clinic, you can find her at the beach, playing with her fur-baby Koda, or doing something active like kitesurfing or yoga. .
