Our new state-of-the-art practice offers a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery, diagnostic medicine and emergency pet care.

We’re proud supporters of our local community and have been providing compassionate pet health care and professional advice for nearly 30 years (originally established by Dr Tony Thelander). Our team continues to grow with qualified veterinarians, experienced nurses, puppy school classes and now access to a wide range of pet products and services from Petbarn.

We understand the bond between you and your pet and are committed to offering exceptional service and the very best in veterinary medicine. We treat your pet as if they are a much-loved member of our own family. We invest ourselves emotionally as well as professionally so you can be assured that your pet is in the best of hands. Our purpose is to share our love and passion for animals through the pursuit of veterinary excellence.

Cat-Friendly Clinic

Greencross Vets Kedron has been awarded Gold level accreditation from the International Society for Feline Medicine. Our clinic is amongst a select few in the country to attain the Gold level status due to our sophisticated practice design, equipment, facilities and exceptional standards of care.

We understand that bringing your cat to the vet can be a challenging experience for both you and your feline friend. Our team are knowledgeable about our feline patients and have a gentle, caring and empathetic approach to handling them.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Cody holds a strong background in customer service and a lifelong passion for animals, bringing warmth to every interaction. As an experienced receptionist, she manages front desk operations, coordinating appointments, and creating a welcoming environment for clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys expressing my creativity through miniature painting and crafting. Whether she’s painting tiny figurines or creating handmade crafts, it’s a rewarding way to unwind. She loves the attention to detail these hobbies require and the sense of calm and focus they bring.

Veterinary Nurse

Marina started her career as a veterinary nurse five years ago in her hometown in California after completing her Bachelor’s in Zoology. She has continued to pursue career and her love of animals, science, and medicine after moving to Australia in 2023. Outside of work, she can be found at the Archery range, both assisting in lessons and competing with her fellow archers.

Hospital Manager

Sarah is the Hospital Manager at Greencross and AEC Kedron. She began her career in the veterinary industry in 2013 as a receptionist in emergency care. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working in clinics across Australia and Canada, ranging from holistic practices to specialist hospitals. These diverse experiences have fostered her passion for leadership and practice management.

At home, Sarah shares her life with a lively collection of animals. Among them are her three French Bulldogs—Luffy, Mai and AJ—her cat, Inosuke and her Macaw, Paulie.

Veterinary Nurse

Kaylee has been a veterinary nurse since 2020 and is passionate about treating every patient as if they were her own, always providing plenty of TLC. She enjoys expanding her knowledge and learning new skills within the field. At home, she has a chocolate Border Collie named Narlah and a Ragdoll cat named Leia. Outside of work, Kaylee is often outdoors—playing golf, netball, or volleyball, horse riding, or spending time at the gym.

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) from The University of Queensland. She has a strong interest in emergency and critical care and is actively building her career in this fast-paced, hands-on field. Sarah is passionate about providing calm, compassionate care when it’s needed most.
When she’s not in scrubs, you’ll find Sarah exploring local parks with her Aussie Shepherd, Bambi, or planning her next holiday and perfecting new matcha recipes.

Margreta joined Greencross Kedron in 2023 after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She has a keen interest in all areas of veterinary medicine and surgery, but her true passion lies in making every visit a positive and stress-free experience for her patients.

Outside of work, Margreta enjoys relaxing at home with her two beloved cats, Nala and Maple, wrangling her naughty green cheek conure, Harley, and bringing home ‘just one more’ houseplant.

With over 30 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Donna brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to our clinic. As a proud pet parent to two curious cats, Zeus and Bandit, she understands the deep bond between pets and their people. Outside of work, Donna enjoys exploring the great outdoors—whether it’s 4WD adventures, camping under the stars, or spending time in her garden. Her love for animals and nature shines through in everything she does.

Taylor is the Veterinary Director of Animal Emergency Centre and Greencross Kedron. He graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 2017. Originally from Burpengary, Taylor has returned to Brisbane’s northside to help support the veterinary team at Kedron. Clinically, he has a strong interest in emergency surgery, ultrasonography, endoscopy, and pain management. Outside of work, you’ll find him exploring local brunch spots and hunting down the perfect sweet treat.

Veterinarian

Laureline has loved animals from a young age. She began her veterinary journey early, volunteering at a veterinary clinic at just 14 years old, which laid the foundation for her lifelong dedication to animal welfare. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009.

With a passion for working with small animals, Laureline spent seven years in shelter medicine before transitioning back to general practice. She believes in proactive health strategies to ensure pets live happy, healthy lives. Her experience in shelter medicine has further shaped her compassionate approach, as she remains committed to providing the best care for every animal, regardless of their background.

A true cat lover, Laureline shares her home with Ash, her much-loved senior feline, who certainly keeps everyone in line.

Practice Manager

Tracey-Lee has been indispensible as a Practice Manager with Greencross Vets since 2017, originally at our Toombul clinic. She completed her Diploma in Practice Management in 2007 and Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing in 2013.

she has a very active Chocolate Border Collie – ‘Boss’; a Male Ginger Cat – ‘Tyler’, who runs the house; a Cockatiel – ‘Bondi’, three Chickens and two Goldfish. Tracey-Lee enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and loves travelling exploring new and interesting places locally and overseas.

Tracey-Lee is devoted to making sure that all owners and pets experience the very best care whilst at our clinic.

Veterinarian

Emma graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 and worked in small animal practice for 5 years before joining Greencross Chermside in 2016. Emma loves for behaviour cases – from starting puppies on the right track, helping with tricky teenagers, or working with fearful adults. She is particularly interested in cooperative care and low stress handling. Emma is the Cat advocate for our ISFM Gold level Cat Friendly Clinic and monitors our Stress Free Pets accreditation. Emma also has an interest in dentistry and internal medicine.

Emma shares her house with her husband, Doug, twin girls, her cattle dog Lucy and her cats, Cinnabar and Aggie.

Veterinarian

Rebecca graduated as a veterinarian with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 2008. She spent her first two years working in country practice in Warwick, Queensland treating a variety of farm and companion animals. She then decided to pursue small animal practice and worked at a vet hospital on the Gold Coast for a further two years. Rebecca joined Greencross Chermside Vet Hospital in July 2013 and loves being a part of such a friendly passionate team.

Her primary interest is in helping dogs and cats with their medical problems, especially performing ultrasounds. She also loves educating owners about preventative health and enjoys pampering her patients with treats.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys competing in dressage and jumping on her thoroughbred, Laddie, and spending time with her black Labrador, Scout and her crazy chocolate labrador, Mocha.

Zoe is a qualified veterinary nurse with eight years of experience and a keen interest in dental care, behaviour and making veterinary visits as stress-free as possible. She can be found at reception offering a warm welcome or in the hospital caring for patients to ensure their comfort. Zoe is a proud mum to Garry the golden retriever and two cheeky senior cats, Bobo and Dozza, aged 18 and still ruling the house.
