Our new state-of-the-art practice offers a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services 24/7 to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery, diagnostic medicine and emergency pet care.

We’re proud supporters of our local community and have been providing compassionate pet health care and professional advice for nearly 30 years (originally established by Dr Tony Thelander). Our team continues to grow with qualified veterinarians, experienced nurses, puppy school classes and now access to a wide range of pet products and services from Petbarn.

Greencross Vets Kedron has been awarded Gold level accreditation from the International Society for Feline Medicine. Our clinic is amongst a select few in the country to attain the Gold level status due to our sophisticated practice design, equipment, facilities and exceptional standards of care.

Meet The Team

Kate Pembroke

Kate Pembroke

Joining the Greencross family in early 2014, Kate has worked previously in the employment services industry but her passion and love for animals drew her to the veterinary field. A world traveller, Kate spent much of her childhood on a yacht and has lived in such places as Borneo, Japan, Alaska and Mexico. Her cat Merlin is her only permanent fur baby but they happily and frequently share their home with foster kittens who need a bit of TLC and help finding their forever home.

Veronica has been a veterinarian for over 25 years and is passionate about providing the absolute best service to our furry friends and clients. She joined the caring team at Greencross Chermside in early 2010 having spent her working life in assorted capital cities across Australia (however Brisbane is the best!). She has a crazy, leaping 11 month-old Border Collie X Kelpie called Ceili who despite focus issues, has made it to Class three at obedience training! Bruno and Flipper are her two long suffering cats, who can’t understand why anyone needs dogs. With her partner Alan, she has a gorgeous teenage daughter, all of whom keep her busy!

Tracey-Lee Mifsud

Tracey-Lee Mifsud

Tracey-Lee has been indispensible at Greencross Vets Toombul as Practice Manager since its inception in September 2017. She completed her Diploma in Practice Management in 2007 and Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing in 2013. She has a very active Chocolate Border Collie – “Boss”,a Male Ginger Cat – “Tyler” who runs the house, a Cockatiel-“Bondi”, 3 Chickens and 2 Goldfish. Tracey-Lee enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and loves travelling exploring new and interesting places locally and overseas. Tracey-Lee is devoted to making sure that all owners and pets experience the very best care whilst at our clinic.

Dr Stephanie Molloy

Dr Stephanie Molloy

Stephanie graduated from Sydney University with first class honours in 2015. She then undertook a one year internship at a specialist hospital in Brisbane before joining our team at the start of this 2017. Stephanie loves working with all small animals but has a special interest in cats – she is the clinic “Cat Advocate” and is in charge of our ISFM gold accreditation. In her spare time Stephanie loves cooking, reading and has recently taken up rock climbing. She also has two cats of her own, Tintin and Donnie, who keep her very entertained on her days off.

Maree Rablin

Maree Rablin

Maree has been a vet nurse since 2005 and loves the challenges her job brings. Maree is heavily involved in the sport of Dances with Dogs performing with her border collies Chook and Styler. She is also an ANKC Dances with Dogs judge and has judged and run seminars for the sport both locally and interstate. Her dogs Chook and Styler are the only border collies in Australia with international BH obedience titles. Keep an eye out for her at the Ekka as she frequently performs or judges there!

Teagan has been the animal industry for over 8 years and has been a vet nurse for almost 3 years. She has 2 dogs, Willow a 4 yr old staffy and Chance a 7 yr old staffy who is also deaf. Teagan also has a 17 yr old cat. Teagan loves to advocate for the special needs pets.

Beth Lawson

Beth came to Australia from England on a working holiday 13 years ago, fell in love with the place and never left! She has always had a love for animals and finally decided to follow her passion and became a veterinary nurse four years ago. Working at the RSPCA in Melbourne first before moving to Brisbane just recently and joining the team at Greencross Vets Kedron, Beth is really enjoying getting to know the fur kids and their parents at the clinic! In her spare time she enjoys yoga, running and indoor climbing. But her favourite pastime is hanging out with her husband Matt and two dogs, Buffy and Adam, at the beach or down by their local lake.

Alanna graduated from the University of QLD with Honors in early 2016 with a one year old daughter, two 16 year old huskies, two 18 year old cats, a pigeon that thinks she’s human and a husband! She was delighted to start her veterinary career with Greencross Vets Kedron with the opportunity to get to know all their lovely clients and their gorgeous pets. Before going back to University to pursue her childhood dream of being a vet, Alanna worked with microscopic animals in the microbiology field. Later she was able to do some travelling through sales and promotions work. In her spare time Alanna enjoys family time, yoga and outdoor activities, especially involving animals! Other interests include zoo animal and exotic medicine but she mostly enjoys meeting people and their pets and providing the highest standard of care possible.

Emma graduated from the University of Melbourne with 1st class honours in 2010. She worked in a small animal practice in Brisbane for 5 years before joining Greencross at the start of 2016. She enjoys working with such a highly trained and passionate team. Emma has a particular interest in behavior and low stress handling. She shares her house with her husband, Doug; her two cattle dog cross dogs (Bill and Lucy); and her cats, Cinnabar and Aggie.

Dr Rebecca Hambleton BVSc (Hons)

Rebecca graduated as a veterinarian with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 2008. She spent her first two years working in country practice in Warwick, Queensland treating a variety of farm and companion animals. She then decided to pursue small animal practice and worked at a vet hospital on the Gold Coast for a further two years. Rebecca joined Greencross Chermside Vet Hospital in July 2013 and loves being a part of such a friendly passionate team. Her primary interest is in helping dogs and cats with their medical problems, especially performing ultrasounds. She also loves educating owners about preventative health and enjoys pampering her patients with treats. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys competing in dressage and jumping on her thoroughbred, Laddie, and spending time with her black Labrador, Scout and her crazy chocolate labrador, Mocha.

Lucie Miller

Lucie Miller

Lucie has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nurse and was delighted to join the amazing Greencross Vets Kedron team at their new practice. She has over 12 years experience including emergency and specialist surgery and medicine nursing care. She loves all animals but it is her special affinity and interest in all things feline that in the past earnt her the nickname of “Cat Whisperer”. Lucie is interested in studying feline behaviour and psychology. She is owned by one crazy cat named Heathcliff, who was originally a rescue cat, and one day hopes to run her own cat rescue organisation.

Naomi Phillips

Naomi Phillips

I adore working with animals and have been part of the veterinary industry for over eight years. I have completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies. I’m delighted to be apart of the Kedron team and continue to grow my skills and provide the highest standards of care and service to our clients and patients. My veterinary passions include feline behaviour and pain management. I really value the incredible sense of accomplishment we feel at the end of the day, having given all the love you can to make pets feel safe, comfortable and back to their happy selves. In my spare time, I enjoy heading into the outdoors, whether that’s in my garden, camping, kayaking, or just playing with my eight cats and threedogs.

Sheridan Byster

Sheridan Byster

Sheridan is one of our full time nurses, and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has worked with our wonderful team for over two years, and prior to this completed two years of voluntary nursing for a number of Greencross Vets clinics. Sheridan loves all creatures great and small and in addition to dogs and cats, she has experience with small rodents, goats and cows! She currently owns one cantankerous cat, and has several dogs currently living in Longreach.

Zoe Quick

Zoe’s lifelong love of animals has lead me to my new career in Veterinary Nursing. In her final months of studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, I was lucky enough to be invited to join the Greencross Team at Kedron. When She’s not at work you can find her hitting the books and hanging out with her two very spoilt feline brothers (Dozza and Bobo). Zoe has travelled various parts of Australia and the world enjoying, Dubai, Afghanistan, Thailand, Bail and Europe.
