Our Services.

Greencross Vets Lawnton offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

We would like to inform you that we are offering routine surgery such as desexing, diagnostic surgery, caesareans, wound stitches, tumour and lump removals on Saturdays. Please make an appointment for these services and also note that there will be a 20% surcharge applicable to surgeries performed on Saturdays.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Bella Bodman

Bella Bodman

Veterinary Nurse

Bella joined Greencross in 2019 and completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in November 2021. She has a menagerie at home including two dachshunds, three cats, and a lot of fish! Bella is passionate about surgery and anaesthesia, and has a keen interest in animal welfare.

Nurse Mardie graduated with her Certificate IV in 2020 and has developed a passion for general practice and client support. Mardie’s bright and passionate persona makes her customer service experience the best in the region. Mardie has a gorgeous staffy man who enjoys long walks on the beach.

Veterinarian

Dr. Sarah hopped across the pond to join us from England. Graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2015. Throughout her experience, she has developed keen interests in felines, surgery, and adopting homeless animals.

Dr. Kelly Bingham

Veterinarian

Dr. Kelly joined us as a new graduate in early 2019 and has quickly established herself as a progressive and intuitive veterinarian. When Kelly is not studying hard, she is hanging out with her handsome boys; Magnus and Gingi – two fabulous rescue cats.

Rhianna Wilcox

Rhianna Wilcox

Rhi joined the Lawnton team as a Greencross Nurse Intern and has since been adopted by the team. Rhi is loving her work as a trainee veterinary nurse and often brings in her handsome staffy, Romeo, to hang out with the team.

Shannon Cobb

Shannon Cobb

Shannon joined the Greencross Lawnton team originally as a volunteer veterinary nurse student. She has since completed her Certificate IV and has firmly asserted herself as a favourite amongst our patients! Shannon enjoys working with a wide variety of animals and is owned by Stella the Mastiff X, Zelda the tail-less cat, and Athena, the albino Carpet Python.

Practice Manager / Veterinary Nurse

Jess leads the team with more than a decade of experience in veterinary nursing. She is passionate about customer service, team development, and positive patient outcomes. You can find Jess at both our Lawnton and Bald Hills clinics.

Kirsty Vanderwolf

Kirsty Vanderwolf

Kirsty joined us as a Veterinary Nurse not long after she completed her Cert IV. She has a keen interest in surgical nursing and her passion (other than her patients, of course!) is basketball – she plays competitively! Kirsty has 2 dogs; Bella & Bobbie, and a kitty cat called Ginger.

Dr. Alanna graduated from the University of QLD 2016. She is passionate about feline medicine and has a keen interest in small mammals and wildlife. Dr Alanna is known by our clients as the ‘cat whisperer’ but can also soothe even the crankiest of chihuahuas!

Veterinary Director

Dr Kirsty was born on the Gold Coast and later moved to Brisbane to complete her qualifications in Veterinary Science and Zoology/Animal Physiology. She is passionate about continuing education and has multiple special interests including surgery, pocket pets and a strong focus on preventative health. In her spare time, Kirsty has a very active lifestyle running, going to the gym and boxing. She also loves to spend time with her beautiful chocolate Labrador named Zeke who is an avid gardener!
