Gabriella grew up in a small farm in the north of Italy. She graduated from University of Bologna in 2009 and then worked for three years in small animal clinics. In 2012 moved to Australia and permanently settled in Perth in 2013. In Australia, Gabriella mostly worked in emergency referral centers. After the birth of her second child in 2022, she started working with Greencross Vets. Gabriella has a particular interest in emergency and imaging.
When she is not working, she loves spending time with her children and traveling when possible.
Hayley recently moved over to Perth from the UK where she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in October 2020 after studying a three year Diploma.
Since completing her working holiday visa in 2014 where she actually worked at Greencross Vets, she knew she would be back because she loved the city and the clinic. She has worked at the Nedlands and Midland clinics and loves the variety of cases both clinics have to offer.
Back in the UK, she grew up around dogs, which adds to her knowledge about them but equally adores our feline patients. Hayley has a particular interest in the complex behaviours of our feline friends, additionally she has a keen interest in the wildlife in Australia and in the future would love to get more involved with wildlife rehabilitation.
Currently she lives with a gorgeous rescue grey hound called Denzel, he has a very gentle character and often keeps her company in the evenings on the sofa.
In her spare time, she loves being out and about exploring all that this incredible country has to offer. Hayley loves the water and can often be found spending time at the beach, and enjoys water activities such as kayaking, swimming and snorkeling.
Evana is a qualified vet nurse and has a particular interest in emergency work. In her spare time, Evana can be found enjoying gardening and going to the beach with her staghound, Maisy.

At the end of 2013, he and his family moved to Perth, where he is able to continue his interest in all aspects of veterinary practice particularly ophthalmology , preventative healthcare, orthopaedics and behaviour.
When he is not in the clinic, you will find him playing rugby for UWA, going to Fame Trivia quizzes, walking his dogs Apollo and Timmy and enjoying the beaches of WA..
Dr Hannah Beveridge
Dr Hannah Beveridge
Dr Hannah is a 2002 Murdoch Graduate who has recently returned to Perth after recently calling Dorset, UK, home. Although she loves all aspects of being a general practitioner, her main areas of interest are major abdominal surgery and supporting new and recent graduates so they too can remain in the profession and love their job as she does.
Over the last 19 years she has worked in many clinics in both Australia and the UK and spent six months in 2020 as a Visiting Professor at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, St Kitts, West Indies.
When Covid-19 caused the staff at the local brewery to be furloughed, she and her partner Nick (a brewer) took over. She spent the remainder of 2020 working as a Drayman at the local brewery, delivering bottles and casks of beer throughout Dorset with her rescue German Shepherd Dog, Koda. Sadly, Koda passed away in September 2021. Hannah looks forward to settling back in to life in Perth and perhaps sometime in the future, welcoming another rescue German Shepherd into her home.
In her spare time she enjoys playing Polo, gardening, hiking, snowboarding and generally anything that takes her outside.
Dr. Rachael Hayes
Dr. Rachael Hayes
Dr. Rachael is from County Cork in Ireland and qualified from University College Dublin in 2016. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Devon in the Southwest of England where she spent over a year working in small animal practice. She then moved home to Cork and spent four years working in various small animal veterinary roles before joining the Greencross Vets Nedlands team.
Rachael has a professional interest in soft tissue surgery and loves a challenging medical case. While working as a small animal vet, she also had the opportunity to treat local wildlife. This has been a particular interest of Rachael’s since she rescued an injured hedgehog named Marvin who now lives in her back garden!
Outside of work, Rachael loves to spend time reading or walking on the beach with her two cocker spaniels, Maggie and Lucy. She also loves to travel and will use any opportunity she can to explore new places while meeting people along the way. Rachael is very excited to move to Australia and start a new adventure while also expanding her experience as a veterinarian.
Having moved to Australia seven years ago, Harriet embarked on a career in the veterinary industry, qualifying as a Registered Vet Nurse. She has been working as the Practice Manager alongside Dr James Holder and the team at Greencross for 3 years.
