Greencross Vets Morayfield is the first purpose built clinic amongst the Greencross group. Our clinic’s design concept is like no other in Australia and features a 496 square metre state of the art clinic and 145 square metre pet retail centre which will showcase a variety of pet care products and toys.

We are your local team of pet care professionals, we are truly ‘passionate about pets’ and we love what we do.
We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine.

Greencross Vets Morayfield has been awarded with Gold level accreditation from the International Society for Feline Medicine. Our clinic is amongst a select few in the country to attain the Gold level status due to our sophisticated practice design, equipment, facilities and exceptional standards of care.We understand that bringing your cat to the vet can be a challenging experience for both you and them. Greencross Vets Morayfield's gold level accreditation ensures that this experience is as efficient and stress-free as possible.

Greencross Vets Morayfield offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Ultrasound

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

X-ray/Radiology

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Margaret Rigby

Margaret Rigby

Margaret has been a Veterinary Nurse since 2016. She enjoys every aspect of her role as a nurse, especially her time interacting with her furry patients. She also volunteers with local pet related charity in her spare time. Margaret has 2 dogs and 2 cats of her own who she loves to spoil.

Dr Cherie Turbefield

Dr Cherie Turbefield

Cherie has been a veterinary nurse since 2016. She loves being a veterinary nurse and has a particular interest in radiology. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 4 cats.

Dr Megan

Dr Megan

Megan graduated as a veterinarian in 2017. She has a particular interest in surgical medicine, which she is looking forward to developing over the years to come. She has 2 dogs and 2 horses of her own, whom she loves spending her spare time with.

Amelia Duffy

Amelia Duffy

Amelia has always been passionate about working in the veterinary industry completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is the feline advocate and ensure all our feline patients receive the particular care they require. She is always happy to give advice about your new furry friend.  In her spare time, Amelia is very passionate about riding with her horse Cocoa and spending time with her cat Mildred, who she hand raised from a few days old.

Dr Kate Morris

Dr Kate Morris

Dr Kate has extensive experience in the veterinary industry working at a number of different practices for over many years. She is well known for providing outstanding work with challenging medical cases and will always go the extra mile to ensure the greatest care for your pet. She has a strong passion for orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and behavioural medicine. Kate loves everything about the veterinary industry and couldn’t imagine working in any other profession.  She has a large fur family including dogs, cats and a horse.

Dr Kellie Farraway

Dr Kellie Farraway

Kellie graduated from UQ in 2009 and has spent time working in a mixed practice in central QLD. Kellie has a special interest in dermatology, canine and feline internal medicine and emergency and critical care.  In her spare time Kellie enjoys reading and yoga.

Dr Wendy Reilly

Dr Wendy Reilly

Wendy has been a practicing veterinarian for over 30 years. She has worked all over Australia and England. Wendy has a particular interest in surgery and continues to study to advance her knowledge and skills.

Kerry Higham

Kerry Higham

Kerry has extensive experience in the veterinary industry, working as a veterinary nurse for over twenty years. She has always had a strong passion for animals and loves interacting with them every day. In my spare time you’ will find Kerry indulging in my passion for horses including riding and competing. She also has an interest in alternative bowen therapy for pets.

Louise Winkel

Louise Winkel

Louise has always had a strong love of animals, working with a number of animal welfare organisations since the age of twelve. Louise has been in the veterinary industry for many decades. She is extremely interested in animal behaviour and the strong bond between pets and their owners. She continues to study in all aspects of nursing to advance her skills further.  In her spare time you will find Louise cooking and dabbling in photography.

Naomi Craigen

Naomi Craigen

Naomi is part of the Morayfield nursing team ensuring exceptional customer service with her cheerful nature. Naomi is a compassionate and caring nurse who ensures your pets receive the tender loving care they deserve every time they visit. When she’s not working you will find her spoiling her fur baby Pippy, her excitable and enthusiastic Poodle.

Rebecca Smith

Rebecca Smith

Rebecca has always had a strong passion for animals and has been nursing since 2007. Her special interests include emergency and critical care. She enjoys the fast paced and challenging world of veterinary care, but particularly making a positive difference to the lives of our patients and clients. She owns a chihuahua called ‘Pippy’, a doberman called ‘Ollie’ and a Devon Rex called ‘Gomez’.
