Greencross Vets Mortdale offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Hi, I’m Alanna a qualified Vet Nurse! I love working with animals all sizes and I especially love surgery. I have 4 dogs Indy, Loui, Beau and Chips as well as my two cats Fish and Squid

Sarah is one of our senior nurses. Sarah qualified in 2010 and has since been with Greencross for 9yrs. In her spare time she cuddles her 3 cats King, Bastien and Phoenix and also plays soccer for her local football club.

Laura is a Trainee Vet Nurse at Greencross Mortdale that loves animals and science and is happy to work in an environment that involves both. She’s on her way on obtaining her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing later this year. She’s happy to be surrounded by a team of amazing humans that share her interests. She enjoys going on walks, snorkelling, playing sports, exploring new things, and spoiling and teaching tricks to her cat, Gristopher.

Dr Lidya graduated in 2017 from the University of Sydney and joined Greencross in 2021. She has always been fascinated by animals and aspired to become a vet from a young age.

While she enjoys general practice, Dr Lidya has a particular soft spot for senior pets who require special care and attention in their later years. Outside of work, she enjoys staying home and spending quality time with her husband and energetic toddler.

Anita joined Greencross, as part of the customer care team, in 2022. She comes to us with diverse experiences in human healthcare, in the veterinary field as well as in animal rescue work. She thoroughly enjoys  her role where she is able to combine her deep love for animals with her love for connecting with people! At home, she is mother to 4 beautiful children and family animals.

Dr Gary graduated with a Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of California, Davis in 2018 and completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2024. enjoy all aspects of general practice and has a strong interest in developing broad, well-rounded clinical knowledge. fluent in Korean.

Dr. Anna (referred to as Reggie by her work peers and client’s alike) travelled to Australia from the Philippines in 2019 to pursue her dreams of becoming a vet. She joined Greencross Vets in 2022 as a new graduate veterinarian. In her freetime, she likes to play video games on her laptop and chilling at home with her cats, Fudge and Snickers.

Practice Manager

Melissa joined the Greencross Vets team in 2015 as Practice Manager at our Mortdale, and now Punchbowl, clinics. Melissa has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and started off as Veterinary Nurse before completing her Diploma in Practice Management. She enjoys managing the day of day running of the business’s and ensuring your pets receive the best possible care when they visit the practice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and Son, going to the gym, running and walking and spending time with her two adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, named Abby and Archie.

Anna is a Veterinary Nurse of four years who is a Mum of two daughters, two dogs and a rescue kitten. She has an interest in all animals and has volunteered with Vervet Monkeys in South Africa and Orangutans in the jungles of Borneo. Anna loves working with companion animals and making sure they go home happy and healthy.

Donna joined Greencross Vets in 2009 after graduating from the University of Sydney. She enjoys soft tissue surgery and medicine, and being in general practice allows her to pursue these interests. When not at work, she usually spends most of her time relaxing at home. Hobbies include reading and cooking, and supervising a crazy cat that can’t be trusted around anything that can be chewed.

Veterinary Associate

Volunteering in animal shelters and zoos since she was 14 in the States developed Dr. Ketherine´s keen interest in all creatures from a young age. This love grew further once she returned to Australia, particularly for our unique wildlife after participating in WIRES and extracurricular programs at the University of Sydney.

Ketherine has been involved in the veterinary industry at all levels including as a kennel hand, at reception, while nursing, and finally now a vet after graduating from the University of Sydney with Honours Class I in 2017.

Her additional fields of interest include feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology.

In her spare time, she enjoys coastal hikes, kayaking, and watercolour painting. Her apartment is ruled by an affectionate but demanding senior cat, and she particularly enjoys taking the family dog and cat out for walks.
