Meet The Team
Ashleigh has been working at the practice since 2007. She has recently completed her certificate 4 in veterinary nursing. Her favourite nursing duties are cleaning teeth and hand raising kittens and seeing them off to forever homes. In her free time Ashleigh enjoys teaching dancing and playing netball.
Kelly started her veterinary nursing career in 1997, she has remained at the same practice to date.
She moved into a senior role in 2005 and completed her Diploma in practice management in 2007.
Her long term bond to the practice, staff, clients and patients are extremely important and play a massive role in her life.
At home she has a Dogue de Bordeaux named ‘Seymour’ who loves to accompany her to work each day.
She also has 2 very active and adventurous bengals named ‘Lia’and ‘Benjamin’ and a rescued persian named Evie, who loves to spend her days sleeping in late and guarding the bed until mum comes home.
After attaining a degree in Communications/Journalism and working in various related industries Naomi decided to pursue a career that catered for her lifelong passion for animals. In 2009 Naomi started at Greencross Woofpurnay as a weekend hydrotherapist where she was able to put her dog training qualifications to good use in assisting dogs to feel comfortable in the water. Six months in, Naomi was employed as a receptionist and then later as a Veterinary Nurse and Weekend Manager.
Naomi enjoys all aspects of the veterinary nursing but has a special interest in behavioural cases and learning about diseases.
In her spare time Naomi Googles random facts, tends to her multiple and multiplying tropical fish tanks and spoils her Kelpie, Schipperke and Selkirk Rex cat.
