Welcome to Greencross Vets Nerang
We are your local team of pet care professionals, we are truly ‘passionate about pets’ and we love what we do. We strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible with the help of pheromone diffusers within our reception area.
We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine. We maintain a cryo surgical system here at Nerang, which allows us to treat some skin lesions and lumps in a non traditional way.
Although Greencross Vets is part of a national organisation our practice is run and managed by a team of dedicated vets, nurses and support staff who understand and value the bond between you and your pet. Our team is committed to offering you and your pet’s exceptional service, and the very best in veterinary medicine and preventative health care.
We encourage you to contact us directly should you have any questions about your pet’s health and wellbeing or if you simply want more information about the services that we can provide you and your pets.

I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2004. Since graduation I have worked in small animal practice in Bundaberg, Beenleigh, and Gladstone before joining the Greencross Vets Nerang team in October 2012 as the Veterinary Director. Following maternity leave in 2016, and 2018, I have returned as a part time associate. My areas of interest include ultrasound, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery. My “feathered children” include a cockatiel called Oscar (the grouch), and our Khaki Campbell ducks.
My name is Louise and I have been with Greencross Nerang since 2015 when I was a school based trainee. I then moved onto my certificate IV in Veterinary nursing, which I have recently completed. I have two cats (Leonard and Garfield) and one dog Benjamin. I am passionate animals and love what I do. I always strive to offer exceptional care and endless amounts of cuddles during your fur baby’s visit.

Najin joined Greencross vets since she graduated University of Queensland 2017. She enjoys every aspects of small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dental health, companion animal behaviour and would love to broaden her skills in diagnostic ultrasound. Outside of work, Najin enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her two adorable Belgian shepherds, Tyron and Flynn, to the beach or spending a quiet day with her beautiful three cats, Coco, Mocha and Toby.
I’ve been with the Greencross since family February 2016 after working at Sea World for 17 years as a Marine Mammal Trainer
and 2IC in animal care. I started my career in the animal industry when I was 19 working with horses and became a qualified Vet Nurse at 21. I worked in the veterinary industry up to the age of 26 which is when I moved into the zoo industry. Throughout my animal training career my passion for behavior management has grown and I truly believe that every animal should be smiling.
I teach puppy pre school too; which I LOVE! In my spare time I spend my days having fun with my family and my cheeky Jack Russell “Jackson” & rescue bird “Bruce”. Feel free to pop in to the clinic and have a chat and I can help guide you through any behavior issues you may have.

I have passionately collected animals from the age of four when I brought home a stray kitten. I am pet tragic and have a collection of special pets, including a dog with one eye, a horse with one eye, a cat with three legs, a dog with a shortened tail, a manx cat (no tail) and a cockatoo with skeletal abnormalities. They all have huge, engaging personalities, so who cares if they have parts missing. I am a single mum to a wonderful, little boy Lucas and we are passionate about working draught horses. We spend any spare time we have, working, showing and breeding Percheron draught horses and you may have even seen us competing at the Ekka!
Hi, my name is Grace and I have being working as a Veterinary Nurse at Greencross Nerang since 2009. I first began my journey with Greencross as a school-based trainee and was lucky enough to be awarded the Greencross Trainee of the Year. The following year I graduated high school with an OP3 to seal me a spot in Griffith University double degree of Exercise Science and a Master of Physiotherapy. I persevered through the first year and passed my subjects/pracs but then decided to put my studies on hold to give my brain a well deserved rest. My life outside of work/study revolves around my little green man formerly known as Rexy. Rexy is my handsome yet cheeky Indian Ringneck Parrot. Now that you know a little about myself and Rexy, I look forward in meeting you and your furry babies at Greencross Nerang.
Hi, my name is Kerry. I joined the Greencross Nerang Clinic in 2014 .
I absolutely love this job and I consider myself very lucky to work with such a talented and supportive team of Veterinarians and Veterinary Nurses.
My husband, two children and I share our home with three very spoilt dogs, two Staffordshire Bull Terriers named Spud and Minnie, and an Australian Bulldog named Rufus. They are kept in line by our indoor cats, Felix, Willow, Audrey, Ethel, Fallon, Orla, Fane and Nuala.
I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our valued clients and their animals over the last 6 years and have made some lasting friendships through this.
