Hello, from
Greencross Vets

Welcome to Greencross Vets Nerang

We are your local team of pet care professionals, we are truly ‘passionate about pets’ and we love what we do. We strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible with the help of pheromone diffusers within our reception area.

We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine. We maintain a cryo surgical system here at Nerang, which allows us to treat some skin lesions and lumps in a non traditional way.

Although Greencross Vets is part of a national organisation our practice is run and managed by a team of dedicated vets, nurses and support staff who understand and value the bond between you and your pet. Our team is committed to offering you and your pet’s exceptional service, and the very best in veterinary medicine and preventative health care.

We encourage you to contact us directly should you have any questions about your pet’s health and wellbeing or if you simply want more information about the services that we can provide you and your pets.

Our Services.

Greencross Vets Nerang offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Meet The Team

Dr Nicole Phillips

Dr Nicole Phillips

I have been a vet for 27 years, and I am still learning!! I’m excited to join the Greencross Nerang team in September 2021 as the Veterinary Director. I love being able to make a difference to the lives of animals and their people and being surrounded by my animals is my happy place 🐶🐱🦆🐥

I graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994. I had an amazing opportunity to work in many different vet hospitals throughout NSW, SA, Queensland and even the UK! I truly love animals and helping them live healthy, happy lives.

At home I surrounded myself with cats, dogs, chickens and ducks. My spare time is spent caring for my own animals, reading, and swimming.

Grace Williams

Grace Williams

Hi, my name is Grace and I began working with Greencross in 2009 as a Veterinary Nurse, I am now the Practice Manager of the Nerang clinic.

I initially joined the Greencross team as a school-based trainee and was lucky enough to be awarded the Greencross Trainee of the Year award. The following year I graduated school with an OP3 to seal me a spot in a double degree in Exercise Science/Masters of Physiotherapy. I persevered through the first year and passed all theory/pracs however decided to put my studies on hold to give my brain a well deserved rest.

My life outside of work mostly involves running, beach, gym & my feathered child Rexy. There is never a dull moment in my life with Rex, he is an Indian Ringneck Parrot who keeps me very busy!

So now that you know a bit about myself & Rex, I look forward in meeting you and your furry/feathered babies.

Kerry Jack

Hi, my name is Kerry. I joined the Greencross Nerang Clinic in 2014 .
I absolutely love this job and I consider myself very lucky to work with such a talented and supportive team of Veterinarians and Veterinary Nurses.
My husband, two children and I share our home with three very spoilt dogs, two Staffordshire Bull Terriers named Spud and Minnie, and an Australian Bulldog named Rufus. They are kept in line by our indoor cats, Felix, Willow, Audrey, Ethel, Fallon, Orla, Fane and Nuala.
I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our valued clients and their animals over the last 6 years and have made some lasting friendships through this.
