Hello, from
Greencross Vets

Welcome to Greencross Vets Nerang

We are your local team of pet care professionals, we are truly ‘passionate about pets’ and we love what we do. We strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible with the help of pheromone diffusers within our reception area.

We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine. We maintain a cryo surgical system here at Nerang, which allows us to treat some skin lesions and lumps in a non traditional way.

Although Greencross Vets is part of a national organisation our practice is run and managed by a team of dedicated vets, nurses and support staff who understand and value the bond between you and your pet. Our team is committed to offering you and your pet’s exceptional service, and the very best in veterinary medicine and preventative health care.

We encourage you to contact us directly should you have any questions about your pet’s health and wellbeing or if you simply want more information about the services that we can provide you and your pets.

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic procedure that allows vets to take a closer look at your pet’s health. We only use the latest technology for the most accurate diagnoses.

Greencross Vets clinics are equipped with high-quality radiograph equipment including X-ray machines, automatic processors, and X-ray view equipment.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Laboratory Testing

The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.

Kath Stanley

Kath Stanley

My name is Kath and I am the Practice Manager at Greencross Vets Surfers Paradise. I’ve been with the Greencross since family February 2016 after working at Sea World for 17 years as a Marine Mammal Trainer
and 2IC in animal care. I started my career in the animal industry when I was 19 working with horses and became a qualified Vet Nurse at 21. I worked in the veterinary industry up to the age of 26 which is when
I moved into the zoo industry. Throughout my animal training career my passion for behavior management has grown and I truly believe that every animal should be smiling.
I teach puppy pre school too; which I LOVE! In my spare time I spend my days having fun with my family and my cheeky Jack Russell Jackson.
Feel free to pop in to the clinic and have a chat and I can help guide you through any behavior issues you may have.

Caio Ferreira

Caio Ferreira

I have been working in the animal care industry since 2009. I completed his qualifications in Veterinary Science in my home country of Brazil, and have been living in Australia for 2 years now. I now call Australia home and I am looking forward to converting my Brazilian qualifications so that I can become a veterinarian here. I have a special interest in dermatology and I love animals of all shapes and sizes!

Dr Helen Perry

Dr Helen Perry

I have passionately collected animals from the age of four when I brought home a stray kitten. I am pet tragic and have a collection of special pets, including a dog with one eye, a horse with one eye, a cat with three legs, a dog with a shortened tail, a manx cat (no tail) and a cockatoo with skeletal abnormalities. They all have huge, engaging personalities, so who cares if they have parts missing. I am a single mum to a wonderful, little boy Lucas and we are passionate about working draught horses. We spend any spare time we have, working, showing and breeding Percheron draught horses and you may have even seen us competing at the Ekka!

Grace Williams

Hi, my name is Grace and I have being working as a Veterinary Nurse at Greencross Nerang since 2009. I first began my journey with Greencross as a school-based trainee and was lucky enough to be awarded the Greencross Trainee of the Year. The following year I graduated high school with an OP3 to seal me a spot in Griffith University double degree of Exercise Science and a Master of Physiotherapy. I persevered through the first year and passed my subjects/pracs but then decided to put my studies on hold to give my brain a well deserved rest. My life outside of work/study revolves around my little green man formerly known as Rexy. Rexy is my handsome yet cheeky Indian Ringneck Parrot. Now that you know a little about myself and Rexy, I look forward in meeting you and your furry babies at Greencross Nerang.
