Hayley Port

Hayley Port

Veterinary Nurse

Hayley’s passion for working with animals started as a cat attendant in a busy RSPCA in New Zealand, at this time she studied to gain her Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse qualification. Haley enjoys working on reception as she loves chatting to clients and getting to know their pets, she knows it is not always a pleasant visit and tries her hardest to be make it a supportive and safe environment.

Haley loves all animals, but she has a soft spot for cats and wildlife especially possums and sugar gliders. At home, she is a pet parent to a rescue cat named Tui, and two young kids who keep her very occupied.

Veterinary Director

I have been at Greencross Noosa for 4 years and love our amazing team of vets and nurses. I have loved developing relationships with our clients and their beloved pets seeing them grow and change over the years.

I graduated from Massey University, New Zealand in 2002. My first job was in a mixed animal practice in North Auckland for two years. Then the big OE beckoned. I worked in Portsmouth, England in a large small animal hospital for two years and did a lot of travelling throughout Europe during that time. My partner and I stopped in at Noosa on the way back to New Zealand and loved it so much that we decided to stay for while. I did some locum work on the coast and in Brisbane before settling into a position in the sunshine coast hinterland for 9 years. During that time I got married and had two gorgeous children Lee and Amy. My interests are varied and I have completed a distance education course at Sydney University in Diagnostic Imaging. I thoroughly enjoy surgery, ultrasonography and ophthalmology.

I am currently doing a year long course run by Sydney University in Small Animal Surgery and will be sitting my membership exams in mid 2020.

I am passionate in providing quality veterinary care to my patients and clients.

At home I have a beautiful Golden Retriever, Holly whom I took on , performing two major orthopaedic surgeries on her knees. She is now very much a part of our family. I also have a lovely Tonkinese cat called Jandal. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, painting, reading and socialising with friends and family.

Jade Sullivan

Jade Sullivan

Hi I’m Jade, I first became interesed in entering the veterinary industry after adopting my first dog, a then 2 year old staffy. At the time I had very little knowledge regarding the many and varied needs of our furry friends and I wanted to know more. After alot of hard work and study I am now a qualified Cert 4 Vet nurse and there is no looking back 🙂 My favourite thing to do is assisting my awesome surgeon with orthopaedic surgeries. I love to get my hands dirty! I am also slightly addicted to caffine 😉
