Dr Jane Bailey

Dr. Jane Bailey is a dedicated veterinarian who has been serving the Gold Coast community since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2005.

A proud Currumbin local, Jane began her career at the Palm Beach Clinic, and has been working in several small animal practices since then, providing exceptional care to pets in the area. She and her family spent a memorable time living on the beautiful Vancouver Island in Canada and have now happily returned to Palm Beach.

Jane is passionate about fostering a warm, welcoming and stress-free atmosphere for both pets and their owners. She enjoys the variety that small animal practice offers and is committed to providing high-quality care. From routine check-ups, diagnosing complex medical conditions, or performing surgical and dental procedures, Jane approaches each case with dedication and a commitment to excellence.

In her spare time, Jane can be found spending her time enjoy the local beaches with her husband, two boys and their adorable Boston Terrier, Franklin.

Annie Byass

Head Veterinary Nurse

Annie is Head Nurse at Greencross Palm beach, having relocated to the Gold Coast, after being a locum nurse for Greencross in Melbourne.

Annie started Vet Nursing in 2017 after volunteering and working in the animal industry and within vet clinics for 3 years.
During her time as a Vet Nurse, Annie has worked with all sorts of pets, including pocket pets and farm animals.
Annie has a love for teaching and mentoring, following her time as a teacher of animal studies at TAFE.
She loves all animals, particularly dogs and bunnies.

Amy Mulhall

Veterinary Nurse

Amy started her Vet Nursing journey in 2023. She has known her whole life that she wanted to be a vet nurse, after graduating with her Certificate IV and being hired with Greencross, she feels that her dream has come true. Amy is a passionate vet nurse, dedicated to providing top-notch care for all furry friends, who is always looking for ways to learn and experience more within the animal industry. Amy loves going to the beach and exploring with her dog Soul. Amy is obsessed with Golden Retrievers and Whippets! Amy’s one aim with each patient is to see them happy, and healthy while providing a golden standard care. Amy looks forward to meeting all owners and their furry friends!

Sarah Darmody

Practice Manager

Prior to starting her Veterinary Nursing Internship with Greencross Vets at the start of 2020, Sarah worked as a dog groomer for a number of years. Following the completion of her Certificates, Sarah is now the Practice Manager. Having a lifelong passion for animals has solidified, that this is the industry that she feels the most settled in. Getting to do what you love every day, in a career that is both rewarding and challenging is special.

At home, she has two beautiful fur babies, a Whippet named Moose, and a cat named Pearl. Sarah treats her animals like they were her children, so you can be reassured that your animals will be treated like with the highest level of care, whenever they are in her care.

Angela Lee

Veterinary Nurse
My name is Angela and I’ve been in the veterinary industry since 1999 (minus a few years while having my human babies). My passion for animals and animal welfare has always been a strong part of my life. Over the years I often brought strays home to “foster” but never left. At the moment we have one dog named Penny and two cats named Lilli and Sophie. With three kids and three pets we have a very busy house but wouldn’t have it any other way. With such a busy home and young kids you’ll usually only see me in clinic on the weekends.

Hi, my name Summer and I’ve been working in the veterinary industry for 10 years now.
Exceptional pet care is my main priority, looking after your fur babies like they are my own.
I’m a mum of a toddler and three fur kids Java, Piha and Simba. I’m an avid beach enthusiast who enjoys surfing or playing in the ocean with my family at every available opportunity.
My passion and goal is to further develop my knowledge and skills working with animals so I can deliver the best possible standard of care for all pets.

Dr Suzanne Cosgrove BVSc (Hons) BSc

My name is Dr Suzanne Cosgrove. I was born in the USA but grew up on the beaches of the beautiful Gold Coast. In 1999 I moved to Brisbane to study at the University of Queensland where I completed a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical) in 2002 and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) in 2007. During my studies I volunteered for the RSPCA, and also worked as a Veterinary nurse. I came to work with Greencross Vets as a small animal Veterinarian in 2009. Along the way I have adopted six furry children; two terriers named Timmy and Tam, three blue-eyed Siamese cats named Petey, Pauly and Whitey (aka White Bunny), and a chocolate Burmese named Blackie (aka Chocolate Bunny). My furry children are a very important part of my family. I understand the close bond between people and their pets and strive to care for every patient as if they were my own.
