Welcome to Greencross Vets Paradise
Greencross Vets Paradise has been providing veterinary services for Adelaide pets for over 40 years and are now backed by the resources of the Australia wide Greencross Vets group.
We operate from a modern, purpose built veterinary clinic and are well known for providing friendly and comprehensive veterinary care while also putting both our clients and pets at ease
Our staff, both vets and nurses are not only passionate about animals and their care, they are also highly trained to look after your pets and are always expanding their knowledge through both internal and external seminars and courses.
Having 4 experienced vets who can regularly compare notes ensures that your pet can get an automatic ‘in-house’ referral for those more challenging cases. Further referrals for peace of mind are available through the local Veterinary specialist and referral centre.
For those emergencies that always seem to occur after hours, we have confidence that the local Animal Emergency Centre will provide whatever level of care is needed to restore your pet to comfort.
Some of our unique services offered include:
Online Appointment Scheduling
Cat friendly consulting rooms (dog free) to reduce stressful visits
Puppy Pre School ‘best start to life’ program
Diet advice and ‘Porky Pets’ weight loss advice
Sterile theatre for general and major soft tissue and orthopaedic (bone) surgery
Endoscope examination of the airways and stomach

Leo grew up locally in Adelaide with his large family of four brothers, and spent most of his free time with his beloved pets in the backyard.
His love for animals started from a very young age with his first Water Dragon; ever since he has had many reptiles, a few large breeds of dogs, and everything in between!
Recently finishing his Advanced Diploma in Animal Technology, Leo wishes to further his studies to advance his knowledge in all animal related fields.
He thrives for a positive work ethic and making people happy.
Leo’s newest addition to his family is a male ferret, the memories and the name are yet to come but nevertheless he is very excited!
After 15 years in the Accounting industry Carriza decided to take the leap of faith and start studying certificate II in Animal studies. Starting off as an Intern in September 2020 with the team at Paradise, Carriza was offered a part time position in November 2020. She is very enthusiastic about this career change and wants to further her knowledge and continue to study Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Growing up on Kangaroo Island Carriza has always had a love for animals. Her family had their own farm on KI, which is where her love of animals evolved at such a young age. She has two fur babies at home, Sahara a white domestic short haired cat who is very cuddly and loves to snuggle and Rodney an American Staffy who is new to the family at only 7 months old. Rodney has a bright and bubbly personality and loves to play with his toys. Outside of work Carriza loves dancing and is a part of a Calisthenics team. She also loves playing tennis and being active.

Rachel has beloved 16 yr old DSH cat Missy, the boss of the home which is shared with 4.5year old SharPei Boston. When Rachel is not doting over the furkids she often has them close by in the garden. After completing my Certificate II in Animal Studies, I began working at Paradise Vets in 2011 as a receptionist. My love and compassion for animals and people makes this the perfect role for me.
When not working I have a 13 year old daughter and a 19 year old son to keep me busy, along with our 20 year old cat ‘Pudpud’, 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback ‘Macy’ and several chickens. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends and family, reading, walking and volunteering for Meals on Wheels.
