Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dr Nynne J

Dr Nynne J

Graduate Veterinarian

Dr Nynne (pronounced neuh-neuh) is the newest addition to our team, having graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2024. Compassionate and approachable, she is committed to making both pets and pet owners feel at ease when under her care. While Nynne aims provide quality care in all aspects of general practice, she has a keen interest in exotic animal medicine, believing that all creatures regardless of their shape and size deserve medical care, as well as palliative medicine, wanting to ensure that pets and their families are comfortable and well supported.

Nynne has lived in Denmark, China, and Singapore before moving to Australia. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her painting, baking, hopping between Melbourne’s cute cafes, and spending time with her beloved toy poodle Teacup and spicy bunny Sesame.

Veterinarian

Jess is an experienced Veterinary Nurse who has worked across Melbourne, Perth, and Central Queensland, gaining a wide range of skills and knowledge along the way. She holds certificates in Veterinary Nursing, Animal Studies, and Canine Psychology & Behaviour, and has also completed an intensive practical nursing program.

Passionate about providing the highest standard of care, Jess has a special interest in animal behaviour, inpatient care and surgical nursing. She loves building strong relationships with both animals and their owners, ensuring every patient and client feel supported and understood.

Outside of work, she is a proud dog mum to two much-loved and spoilt cavoodles and is currently on maternity leave, enjoying time with her first child.

Veterinary Nurse

Sandra is an internationally trained veterinarian from Colombia, currently working as a veterinary nurse while she completes her Australian registration. She is also finishing a PhD in Agricultural Science, where her research focuses on dairy cattle behaviour and animal welfare. Sandra’s main interest lies in animal behaviour and welfare and she is passionate about improving the wellbeing of animals through compassionate, evidence-based care.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors. Sandra also cherishes the memory of her late dogs, Bianca and Kiara, who continue to inspire her dedication to animals.

Veterinary Director (Exotics Special Interests)

As a person whose children are rabbits, Nicole understands the important position that our pets hold in our lives, whether dog, cat, lizard, rabbit, or goldfish.

While her main interest is rabbit medicine and surgery, she has also seen every other exotic pet species kept in Australia, including venomous snakes, peacocks, and axolotls. Nicole is committed to providing gold-standard care for exotic pets, encouraging client education, and continuing to develop the understanding of welfare and husbandry of exotic companion animals, and is now delighted to direct that commitment to dogs and cats as well.

If you can’t place Nicole’s accent, it’s because she is a Singaporean that was educated in an American school in Shanghai before moving to Perth for vet school, graduating from Murdoch University in 2014.

Dr Alannah joined the Greencross Preston team in 2023 after working at a large not-for-profit animal hospital where she gained a wealth of experience, particularly in small animal medicine and emergency.

She adores all animals and would love to see all your furry friends at our clinic. She has achieved her fear free certification and prioritizes a stress-free visit for you and your pet.

While not working, Dr Alannah enjoys playing board games and trying to keep her indoor plants alive. She has a lovely older cat, Hazel, and a silly younger one, Bunny, who she will tell you far too much about if you let her!

Veterinarian

Dr Chloe spent her teenage and early university career in Perth with her family where she studied Neuroscience and Science Communication at the University of Western Australia. She moved to Melbourne to study the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The University of Melbourne, and has since called Melbourne her home. Chloe has an interest in internal medicine and neurology. In her spare time,

Chloe enjoys cuddles from her Devon Rex cat (Trevor). She also loves making art including ceramic sculptures, and caricature drawings of animals and pets.

Veterinary Nurse

Caitlin recently completed the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has a special interest in expanding her knowledge in wildlife, exotics and client and patient care.

Caitlin loves singing, dancing, great food and barracking for the Collingwood Magpies! She has owned cockatiels, chickens and budgies and adopted her first dog, Major Williams the Princely Pomeranian in 2015 and Sergeant Sullivan the cat in 2023.

Veterinary Nurse

Harriet grew up in Townsville, Queensland, before moving to Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing. Prior to joining the Greencross team, she worked in a cattery and an animal shelter.

She has a passion for animal welfare, and a great deal of experience fostering and nurturing animals in need. Harriet’s own cat, is a one-eyed ginger foster fail named Kobee.

Outside of work, Harriet enjoys having a picnic with her friends in the park and going to see live music.
