The latest in-house laboratory equipment allows our vets to perform a range of diagnostic tests to achieve accurate, rapid diagnosis of your pets’ health status.
Kayla holds a Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse and has been working in this role for over ten years. She has always had a pet from a young age – mainly dogs, rabbits and birds, which sparked her love and passion for all animals and their welfare. Kayla started her position at Greencross Vets, Punchbowl in June of 2022. Her favourite part of the job is monitoring anaesthetics, working alongside likeminded people and nursing our patients back to health. Overall, she enjoys all aspects of being a vet nurse! She is a pet parent to a cheeky boy named Leo who she would be lost without! (the small one pictured).

Hi, I’m Tanisha! I’m a passionate qualified Veterinary Nurse who recently completed Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE NSW.
I currently work here at Greencross Vets Punchbowl, where I get to combine my love for animals with my dedication to their well-being. From cuddling adorable puppies to helping pets recover, I’m living my dream! I can’t wait to share more about my journey and all the amazing animals and people I get to meet!
Outside of work, you’ll often find me surrounded by my furry family. I have three cats and three dogs who bring so much joy into my life. They keep me on my toes and fill my days with so much love and laughter. It’s like having a mini zoo at home.
Head Veterinary Nurse
Emily is our Head Nurse at Greencross Vets Punchbowl and has been a nurse for five years, joining us in 2021. After having a long career in retail management she decided she wanted to do something else she found more fulfilling, that’s when she took the leap and became a vet nurse!
She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, meeting new clients and their pets and making sure the team provides the best care possible.
When she’s not out the front greeting you and showing your pets to their consult she loves spending time in surgery and assisting the vets with medical cases. She also enjoys mentoring new nurses and helping guide them through their studies. Pictured is her spoilt little Jack Russell called Moet.
Melissa joined the Greencross Vets team in 2015 as Practice Manager at our Mortdale, and now Punchbowl, clinics. Melissa is also a qualified Nurse of 12 years. She enjoys managing the day of day running of the business and ensuring your pet’s receive the best possible care when they visit the practice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and her two adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, named Abby and Archie.

Dr Ketherine Li
Dr Ketherine Li
Volunteering in animal shelters and zoos since she was 14 in the States developed Dr. Ketherine´s keen interest in all creatures from a young age. This love grew further once she returned to Australia, particularly for our unique wildlife after participating in WIRES and extracurricular programs at the University of Sydney.
Ketherine has been involved in the veterinary industry at all levels including as a kennel hand, at reception, while nursing, and finally now a vet after graduating from the University of Sydney with Honours Class I in 2017.
Her additional fields of interest include feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology.
In her spare time, she enjoys coastal hikes, kayaking, and watercolour painting. Her apartment is ruled by an affectionate but demanding senior cat, and she particularly enjoys taking the family dog and cat out for walks.
