Greencross Vets St. Kilda is now open!

Your new local team of pet care professionals is excited to announce our brand-new clinic is now open.

We are excited to offer comprehensive and friendly veterinary care right here in your community, conveniently located near Petbarn St Kilda. Our new facility is fully equipped to provide all your pet’s general practice needs under one roof, including three modern consult rooms, a dedicated operating theatre, advanced imaging (x-ray and ultrasound), an in-house laboratory, and a full pharmacy. We also feature separate general and isolation wards to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety.

While our clinic provides exceptional day-to-day and preventative care, please note that for after-hours or 24/7 emergency services, AEC Moorabbin is approximately a 20-minute drive away.

We are passionate about pets and understand the special bond you share. We look forward to welcoming you and your companions to our new clinic!

Where to park

There is a car park directly opposite the Greencross Vets St Kilda clinic with 2-hours free parking between 8am and 6pm.
Alternatively, you can find angle parking on Chaucer Street with 4 hours free parking, which is to the right if you are facing the clinic.
The back car park is for clinic staff only and is locked.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Grooming

Don’t have your own clippers? Let us take care of dog grooming for you. Our clinic offers premium dog grooming for your pet.

Puppy Pre-School

Von A

Von A

Practice Manager

Originally from Scotland, Von is a qualified Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years’ experience in veterinary nursing. With a background in pharmacy, she brings calm expertise and a strong interest in nutrition, preventative care and supporting pets back to health.

Von lives locally with her partner, senior Malamute Keiko and two mischievous cats, Min and Moosh and loves welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.

Dr Maree K

Veterinary Director
Maree hails from sunny Queensland. Growing up on a farm, her life long dream was to be a veterinarian. In 1997, she graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science .

In 2002, she relocated to bayside Melbourne where she has been working as a small animal vet. Maree enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a soft spot for senior pets and cats. She has a Memberships in Feline Medicine but happily treats all canines too.

Maree enjoys getting to know her patients and clients and loves giving puppy and kitty cuddles plus lots of treats.

When Maree is not a vet, she wrangling a teenage son and a bossy cat called Tiggee. She enjoys keeping fit at the gym, gardening, DIY and reading novels.
