Our priority is to provide exceptional veterinary care to pets of residents from Teneriffe, New Farm, Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Newstead and the surrounding areas.
Not only do we have a team of dedicated, qualified and experienced people working at Greencross Vets Teneriffe, but our hospitalisation facilities are state of the art, complete with under floor heating, computerised records and a surgical theatre that is equipped for everything from routine spaying or neutering to surgeries that are much more complex. We also have the iCare TONOVET tool, an innovative tonometer which accurately and painlessly measures the eye pressure of animal patients.
With the latest technology and our friendly, experienced team, you and your pets will feel comfortable and at ease when visiting us for routine vaccinations and other medical treatments.
Here at Greencross Vets Teneriffe, we also take pride in the fact that every service we offer is performed here, by us, and that we do not transport pets to other locations for treatment. Dr Felicity Waterfield
Dr Felicity Waterfield
Dr Felicity graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences from James Cook University in Townsville in 2021. In 2023, Felicity moved from Townsville to Brisbane and has joined the team full-time at Greencross Vets Teneriffe.
Felicity has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery, medicine and preventative medicine, and is excited to get to know all the much loved pets that visit Teneriffe.
When Felicity is not working, she enjoys: roller-skating, rock-climbing and catching up with friends. She is the pet parent to two male cats – Sheep the white cat pictured and Dog, a black Maine Coone X.
Skyie has grown up with all sorts of animals, from dogs to chickens. Being around animals is where she feels most at home. She joined the Greencross Teneriffe team in 2023 and currently holds a certificate II in Animal Studies. Skyie is now advancing her career of working with animals by studying her certificate IV in Vet Nursing. She has an interest in working with all animals; but is leaning more towards wildlife and exotics.
At home you would most likely find Skyie crocheting or cuddling Biscuit, her guinea pig or playing ball with Panda the English springer spaniel cross.
Dr Daisy Chaffin
Dr Daisy Chaffin
Dr Daisy graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours. During her studies, she worked as a nurse at a veterinary clinic and volunteered at the RSPCA. In her final year of study, Daisy spent time in a rural community vet clinic performing health checks and routine desexing procedures of dogs and cats.
Daisy has a keen interest in animal welfare and behaviour, as such aims to create stress-free vet visits. At home, she is a pet parent to Binx, a black rescue cat, and in her spare time, enjoys baking and spending time outdoors hiking.
Courtney has always been passionate about animals from a young age when she worked with horses, dogs, cats and many more animals. After rescuing two dogs (Fraggle and Kona), a cat (Maui) and seeing the transformation that love, time and dedication can make, she decided to start her career as a Veterinary Nurse. Starting with Greencross in their internship program and now as a new nurse, she is working towards a future in nursing with a focus on surgery and emergency.
Veterinary Nurse / Practice Manager
Lauren is the Practice Manager at Greencross Teneriffe. She has a strong background in finance and leadership, however always had a strong desire to work with animals. When fostering Alaskan Malamutes for a rescue group wasn’t enough to fill the void; Lauren decided it was finally time to take the leap to retrain her skillset.
In 2021 Lauren joined Greencross Vets as a Veterinary Nurse Intern. She has since studied, while taking on a full time nursing position; before moving to Practice Manager in 2023. Lauren is excited to continue to grow her career within Greencross.
Lauren thoroughly enjoys working in this dynamic and fast-paced clinic with such a supportive team. Lauren thrives in leading her team to strive for workplace balance, and create a culture of learning and engagement; whilst ensuring the best outcome for our patients and clients.
When not in clinic you will find Lauren enjoying time with her husband, daughter and the fur babies, Arrow and Walt. Lauren and her family enjoy spending time outside, especially cycling, going to the beach, camping and exploring our beautiful country whenever they get a chance.
Claire has loved being around animals from an early age and feels at home working with them every day, lucky for your pets she calls Greencross Vets her second home. She currently holds her Certificate II in Animal Studies and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with the goal of working with exotics in the near future. On her days off, Claire is usually found cuddling beloved bobtail cat Bunny.
Samantha is very passionate about animals and at a very young age knew she wanted to work with them. She has completed her Cert II in Animal Studies with AIRC as an intern with Greencross Vets, and will start her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing next year. Samantha has a he has a strong interest for wildlife animals and has a goal to work with exotics once she has developed her experience.
In her spare time, you will find her cuddling her two cats Oscar and Willow and spending time with friends.
Dr Sarah Cross
Dr Sarah Cross
Dr Sarah Cross is the vet director of Greencross Teneriffe and a current member of the Greencross Vet Advisory Panel. She started her Greencross journey working at Petbarn and was then part of the new graduate program after gaining a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honours from the University of Queensland. Here, she also completed a Bachelor of Business Management with honours focusing on the companion animal industry. Sarah has spent time working with vet clinics and shelters in a number of countries including Thailand, Brazil, Fiji and New Zealand, combining her passion for animals and travel. She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, infectious disease and preventative medicine. She is currently studying emergency medicine, and you may occasionally find her doing shifts at the Animal Emergency Centre.
She is a canine and feline lover, and is pet parent to a naughty fox red Labrador puppy called Cooper and a lovable ragdoll cat called Patrick who she adopted during her many years spent volunteering with rescue pets. Outside of the clinic you often find her out on a walk with Cooper, camping or travelling, at the beach or watching AFL.

Dr. Danielle Terry
Dr. Danielle graduated from the University of Queensland in 2015. She spent her first 18 months working at a charity community veterinary clinic, followed by 3.5 years at a large 24 hour GP/emergency hospital before joining the Teneriffe team in December 2020. Danielle has really enjoyed getting to know our patients. She has a passion for veterinary behaviour and always strives to make the vet visit a positive experience. In her spare time Danielle enjoys reading, bike rides, and together with her partner, renovating their old Queenslander home.
