Greencross Vets All Creatures are your local team of pet care professionals. We are dedicated to providing an excellent standard of care to both our clients and their pet’s in a friendly environment. We are open 7 days a week and will treat your pet as if it was one of own.
We offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery and diagnostic medicine.
What to Expect:
As a client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs. Our service will be provided with courtesy and respect.
You will be greeted by one of our lovely receptionists at the front counter and sometimes your details may be confirmed to ensure that we have the most up to date contact information for you. A veterinarian will see you next, examine your pet, answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary. Our client care specialists will handle billing and schedule any needed follow up.
We encourage you to contact us directly should you have any questions about your pet’s health and wellbeing or if you simply want more information about the services that we can provide you and your pets.

Cherylyn studied Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland, graduating with honours. She moved down to Canberra in early 2019 to join the Greencross Tuggeranong team. She is dedicated to providing excellent care to all of her patients, believing in the importance of the human-animal bond. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue pets, Ruby, a mischievous Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog X and Chewie, a slightly overweight ginger & white kitty.
Dr Carl Chung
Dr Carl Chung
Carl graduated from University of Melbourne with the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He initially worked in a small animal practice in Melbourne. Then he decided to move up to Canberra to start working at Greencross Tuggeranong in 2016. Carl is passionate about small animal medicine and surgery and he has a particular interest in internal medicine. Outside of work Carl likes travelling overseas and going on long walks.
Jennene was born in Wollongong NSW and moved to Canberra in 1981 to study an Arts Degree at ANU. Jennene has worked at Greencross All Creatures since 1993 in the stock control and purchasing areas. She has 3 daughters and a granddaughter. She also has a dog at home named Charlie.
Katie was born and raised in Canberra and has been with the Tuggeranong team since 2016. A trip to Thailand sparked Katie’s interest in the veterinary world and in 2014 she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Katie has always had a soft spot for animals, especially those who have endured a tough life. Not surprisingly all her pets (two dogs, Zepper and Casper, and four cats, Cooper, Harry, Peanut Wigglebutt and Elvis Purrsley) are rescues.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, trips to the coast and watching movies enough times so she can quote every line.
Maddie joined Greencross Tuggeranong in 2016, after completing her Cert II in Animal Studies. She now works as part of the team on reception. She is also a dance teacher, and currently studying a double degree in Education and Arts at the University of Canberra, specialising in Sociology and English. At home, she has two mini lop rabbits Oli and Sam, a cat Morti and a Schnauzer cross, Baxter.
Michelle is the Practice Manager of Greencross Tuggeranong. She has a Certificate IV in Vet Nursing and a Diploma in Practice Management (Veterinary). Michelle has also bred and shown champion Papillon dogs. Born in Canberra and following her schooling here, Michelle lived in Temora for 3 years before returning to start work at Greencross Tuggeranong in March 1997. She has been nursing since 1983 and has an extensive knowledge of medical and surgical procedures. Michelle is a qualified Puppy Preschool trainer, and has a special interest in dentistry and breeding. Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time reading, gardening, antiquing, bee keeping and is the owner of 1 miniature horse, a Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog called Jasper and a very cheeky cat named Amelia.
Nicky always wanted to work with animals ever since watching A Country Practice as a kid. She was born and bred in Canberra and grew up around animals with her grandparents breeding and showing champion Irish Setters and English Springer Spaniels. Nicky started nursing in 1989 at Weston Woden, and began working at Greencross Tuggeranong in July 2001 where she does both reception and nursing duties. Outside of work, Nicky enjoys reading, gardening, anything to do with water, spending time with her 3 kids and has a passion for science. Nicky is owned by2 x cats; Bentley & Merlynn, 2 x conures; Scuttle and Cinnamon, Schnitzel the dog, and also 2 Green Tree frogs named Harry and Hermione.
Penny is the head receptionist at Greencross Vets All Creatures and has worked here since 2006. She can be guaranteed to give you a warm friendly welcome. She has excellent knowledge of the surrounding area after living in Canberra on and off for 20 years. She is a busy mother of four and has one cat, Wendy, and two dogs, Polly & Lilly. Her interests outside work include her family, swimming, gardening, socialising, movies, coffee, and enjoying outdoor activities.
Bec joined the Tuggeranong team in 2009 as our full time receptionist. She was born in Wollongong NSW and moved to Canberra at the age of 2. She has 3 cats; a naughty birman named Ollie, Zeus the ragdoll and a bengal name Bella. In her spare time Bec enjoys baking, collecting vinyl records and following the Formula 1.
Tamika was born and raised in Canberra. She has always lived in a household full of animals and cant remember a time that there was less than 10 pets around. Tamika joined the Tuggeranong team as a school based trainee, working towards her Certificate II in Animal Studies and will eventually go on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. At home Tamika has a german shepherd named Kovu, a red cattle dog named Charli, 2 horses, a carpet python, 2 sheep that she hand reared from 1 day old and a talking Galah. In her free time she rides as much as she can, with Charli always tagging along. In the future Tamika plans on going to University to study horse husbandry and one day hopefully develop her own thoroughbred and standardbred stud farm.
Annette has been a veterinary nurse for 18 years, spending the last 12 at Greencross Vets All Creatures. She has spent the majority of her life in Canberra but has also lived in Amsterdam for a year. Professionally her areas of interest are surgical nursing, Puppy Preschool, grooming and nutrition. Annette’s hobbies include reading, walking and fishing. She is proud Mum to Son Charlie. She has two beloved Dobermanns which are shown regularly and are spoilt rotten.
Bethany joined Greencross Tuggeranong in 2015 as a part time veterinary nurse/receptionist. She is a qualified Cert IV veterinary nurse. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her Italian Greyhound Willow and her rainbow lorikeet Skittles. She also enjoys horse riding which she has done since she was 7 years old, socialising with friends, hip hop dancing and listening to music.
Carrie grew up in the Northern Territory surrounded by wildlife as her father was a ranger with NT Parks and Wildlife. She always loved animals and began working in the animal industry when she was 18 and can’t imagine not working with animals. Carrie began vet nursing in 2006 and since then has worked within nursing, reception and practice management roles. Carrie joined the Tuggeranong team at the beginning of 2016 after moving down from Brisbane, where she has worked for Greencross Vets for the last 8 years. Carrie is passionate about animal welfare and rescue pets and founded a QLD Charity that rescues chihuahuas and other small dogs. She has rescued over 300 dogs and 500 cats in the last 10 years. Carrie is owned by 6 rescue dogs, 2 rescue cats and 3 guinea pigs.

Ben went to school in Melbourne and graduated in Veterinary Science with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2003. He initially worked in a companion animal practice in Pakenham, Victoria for 3 years before heading overseas to the UK where he locumed for 2 years. He returned to Australia in November 2008 and started working at Greencross Vets All Creatures the following April. Ben enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine and surgery but particularly the study and treatment of animals with cancer. Ben completed a postgraduate course in Medical Oncology in 2010. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, travelling, photography and following the Western Bulldogs in the AFL.

Wayne joins Greencross Tuggeranong with 33 yrs experience! With a special interest in small animal and feline medicine Wayne also tutors for CVE distance Feline Medicine course. Outside of work Wayne has a large extended family and is a proud grandfather. On weekends Wayne travels to his property in Bemboka where he has 3 cats, 3 dogs, 2 goats and 2 horses. When he can find the time he also loves cooking, gardening, watching movies and good wine!
Isabel joined the Greencross All Creatures team in 2014 as a part time receptionist, she also works at Petbarn in Weston. She is currently studying a double degree in management and psychology at the University of Canberra. She has 3 dogs; Kippy, Bo and Millie. She also owns 2 horses so enjoys riding and spending time out at the paddock.
Jade was born in West Wyalong, NSW, and moved to Canberra in 1990. She has an Associate Diploma in Animal Science and has been working at Greencross Tuggeranong since December 1996. Jade is married and has two young children. For as long as she can remember, Jade has wanted to work with animals. She owns 2 cats; Archie & Albie and a Rottweiler named Diesel. Jade enjoys all types of veterinary nursing but has a particular interest in dentistry and is also a qualified wildlife carer.
