Meet The Team

Jodie S

Jodie S

Work Placement Student
Jodie has had a lifelong passion for animals, particularly horses, dogs, and cats, and this dedication shines through in everything she does. Currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Jodie completes her work placement days with us on Thursdays and has quickly become an incredibly valued member of our team thanks to her strong knowledge base, calm confidence, and genuine compassion for both patients and their people.

With extensive experience across both small and large animals, Jodie is deeply committed to providing comfort, support, and high-quality care to animals at every stage of life. She brings a thoughtful, professional approach to her work, is always eager to learn, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the best outcomes for those who can’t speak for themselves. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic make her a joy to work alongside and a wonderful support to the wider team.

Outside of the clinic, Jodie is kept busy by her beautiful horse and her stunning (and mostly very well-behaved!) border collie pup. Her dedication to animal health and welfare, combined with her warmth, reliability and skill, make her an invaluable part of our clinic family and we’re incredibly lucky to have her.

Betty first joined our team as a nursing placement student and quickly stood out with her cheerful attitude, boundless enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn. Now, she has proudly stepped into the role of Trainee Veterinary Nurse and is on track to complete her qualifications in June 2026.

Over her time with us, Betty has developed a keen interest in diagnostics and is always the first to put her hand up when there’s bloodwork or imaging to be done. She pairs her curiosity and growing skills with a deep passion for wildlife care, making her a wonderfully well-rounded future nurse.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of Betty’s journey. Watching her skills and confidence grow has been a joy, and her positive presence makes her a truly invaluable part of our team.

Beth is passionate about emergency and critical care as well as wildlife nursing, and her dedication, enthusiasm, and warmth make her an invaluable member of our team.
