Meet The Team
Dr Lucy Bond, clinical director at West Gosford, first qualified 12 years ago in England and soon afterwards moved to Australia where she has worked in Adelaide and Grafton before moving to the central coast where she has been working at the Animal Referral Hospital as a full time emergency vet for the last three years. She is looking forward to making the transition back to GP work at West Gosford.
She has a graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical care and is CPR qualified, additionally, Lucy has completed a course in neurology. As well as dogs and cats, she loves seeing rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furry animals and has done a lot of work with the Rabbit Sanctuary in Grafton. Professionally, Lucy enjoys surgery, dentistry, ultrasounds and enjoys working up medical cases.
Lucy loves travelling and has done many overseas trips with her husband Simon, they have two young daughters, Skye and Isla, who share their love of adventure. The family can often be found cycling, walking their two dogs Guinness and Scrumpy and spending time with their cat Miss B. Their family also includes four guinea pigs and two rabbits.
