We are your local team of pet care professionals and are truly passionate about pets. We love what we do.

Our Woonona-Bulli consulting rooms have been servicing the community for over 25 years. The clinic forms part of the Greencross Vets practices on the South Coast with hospitals located at Fairy Meadow, Crown Street, and Warilla-Shell Cove.

Our team is committed to offering you and your pet’s exceptional service and care with the support of additional diagnostic services and facilities available at our South Coast hospitals.

We encourage you to contact us directly should you have any questions about your pet’s health and wellbeing or if you simply want more information about the services that we can provide you and your pets.

Together with our South Coast sister practices, we also offer a 24-Hour Emergency Service which is available by phoning 4283 2333. This service operates out of Greencross Vets Fairy Meadow.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Greencross Vets Puppy School is an excellent starting point for owners wanting a well-managed and socialised pet. Courses run for four to six weeks. Click to learn more.

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Meet The Team

Dr Brett B

Dr Brett B

Dr Brett started with our team over two decades ago, so he will certainly feel like a familiar face for your pets and is a valued and respected member of our team. He has veterinarian memberships in surgery and has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery.

Away from the clinic, Dr Brett lives with his wife, two children and two cavaliers, Tilly and Frankie.

Dr Nicole H

Dr Nicole H

Originally from South Korea, Dr Nicole came to Australia to pursue her veterinary dream. Upon graduation from University of Sydney in 2019, she started her veterinary career at a mixed practice in Newcastle NSW. In 2023, she joined Greencross and ARH team.

She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency work.

Outside of work, Nicole loves hiking, exploring new outdoor trails and sunbathing at the beach. She has a beloved furry feline named Bongo. 

Dr Joe M

Dr Joe M

Dr Joe graduated from Sydney University in 2020 and spent two years in mixed practice on the mid-north coast of NSW. He has enjoyed his time as a vet from day one. The bonds Joe has formed with patients, their owners and our staff provide fulfilment and joy every day. Joe has a particular interests in emergency medicine, oncology (cancer treatment) and anaesthesia, and hopes to do further study in these fields soon. Outside of work, Joe enjoys running, swimming, cooking, and anything else that keeps him busy.

Dr Chloe M

Dr Chloe M

Dr Chloe has a Bachelor of Advanced Science Hons (1st Class) from the University of NSW and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne.  She has a special interest in critical care medicine and finds fulfillment assisting pets through challenging times.  Outside of work Chloe can be spotted adventuring with her chocolate labrador Tilly.

Veterinary Nurse / Receptionist

Fiona joined Greencross in March 2022, as part of our reception team. She is a qualified puppy preschool trainer and has a certificate in nursing. Fiona has lived in the Illawarra for nine years and is originally from Newcastle, she has two dogs at home buddy a border collie and pebbles a foxi x.

Des K

Des has been with our team for nearly 30 years and loves greeting our clients at our Woonona-Bulli Clinic. Over the years Des has built a strong relationship with many of our clients and their pets. Des is very committed to animal welfare and is passionate about cat rescue. Outside of work, Des loves spending time with her family and friends and also enjoys jazz ballet, tap dancing, yoga, beach therapy and theater.

Dr Julie

Dr Julie

Julie graduated from Queensland University, and has worked in many practices both large and small, in Queensland, Victoria, ACT and NSW. She has been in Wollongong since 1997, and enjoys internal medicine cases.She has 2 adult children, a scientist husband  who exercises a lot , and a young Irish Wolfhound Cuinn. She swims regularly and walks a lot!

Practice Manager

Lauren has been our Practice manager here at Greencross Fairy Meadow and Woonona-Bulli since 2018, she holds a Certificate IV Qualified Nurse and has been working in the veterinary industry for two decades.
At home, Lauren has a German shepherd named Bruce, two domestic short haired cats, Harry and Luna and a Ringneck parrot named Ringo. She also has two human babies named Scarlett and Spencer. Lauren loves hanging out with her pets and family when she is not managing our clinics.
