Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Veterinary Nurse

Ashley completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing in 2022, she has always had a growing passion caring for animals and working in the veterinary industry. She was welcomed by the Greencross team in January 2023 and is constantly growing in all fields within the clinic as a qualified vet nurse. Ashley currently is pet parent to a Bullmastiff x named BJ who is full of energy and definitely keeps others entertained with his goofy personality. Ashley enjoys every aspect of vet nursing and is excited to gain further experience and extended knowledge under the guidance of Shannon, Pru and Josh.

Practice Manager

Shannon graduated in 2020 with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has been working with the team since April 2021. She first broke into the industry with shelter work, fostering neonatal kittens and volunteering for various local Victorian shelters. Shannon has quickly grown to love all aspects of Vet Nursing that she has been exposed to and won’t hesitate to get her hands in on the action with the team. She and her husband currently own three cats; a pair of sisters named Thyme and Rosemary whom they hand reared from three days old, and a young ginger boy named Dill Pickle.

Veterinary Nurse

Pru completed her Certificate IV in 2012 after falling in love with nursing three years prior. she found her passion for working with animals after working in shelters and small clinics in rural Victoria in early 2010. Having many years of experience Pru has had various opportunities to see a wide variety of exciting cases along the way and highly enjoys the hands on approach Greencross offers our clients. Pru is kept busy at home with her two St Bernard’s, a chihuahua, three cats and a turtle.

Dr Josh Lynch

Dr Josh Lynch

Veterinarian
Josh studied Veterinary Medicine at The University of Melbourne and graduated at the end of 2015. He started his career in a fast paced shelter environment, developing a passion for animal behaviour and welfare. He also spent several years working in private practice, gaining extensive experience in both small animal medicine and surgery.

Josh has a special interest in canine behavioural medicine and enjoys making vet visits a positive experience for all of his patients. Having only recently joined the team at Greencross Point Cook, he’s looking forward to building relationships with new clients and their pets.

At home he has an 11 year old Kelpie named Bandit and a 6 month old Heeler named Pickles and they all enjoy bush walks, camping and trips to the beach.
