Veterinary Director, Dr Rachael Hayes, and the team are delighted to welcome you to Greencross Vets Subiaco where we offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to support all your pet care needs. Our services include preventative health care, COHATs (Complete Oral Health Assessment and Treatment), diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery and tailored wellness care for pets at every stage of life.

We are located on Salvado Road near Bunnings, in the Homebase Subiaco Shopping Centre and are conveniently positioned beside Petbarn, so you can find all your pet care needs in one location! Our combined veterinary services and pet retail offerings available to you and your pets are now more convenient and affordable than ever.

Greencross Vets Subiaco offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Meet The Team

Niamh R

Niamh R

Niamh is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology in Ireland in 2020 with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing. While working in practice, she completed an additional degree in Advanced Veterinary Nursing, earning a BSc (Hons). After relocating to Australia in August 2024, she spent several months travelling before settling in Perth. She is passionate about delivering high standards of patient care and clinical excellence, with a particular interest in nutrition and dermatology. Outside of work, she enjoys singing and spending time in nature. She is a proud owner of an English Springer Spaniel named Bailey, who she misses back in Ireland.

Maddy S

Maddy S

Maddy is a Certified Veterinary Nurse with over ten years of experience in general practice, followed by three years in emergency and critical care. She holds an international qualification in emergency nursing and is also Fear Free Certified, demonstrating her commitment to reducing stress and anxiety for patients during veterinary visits.

Maddy is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, with a focus on both clinical excellence and the emotional wellbeing of her patients. She is dedicated to ensuring each animal receives compassionate, attentive care tailored to their individual needs, while also supporting and mentoring her team to maintain the highest standards in veterinary nursing.

Outside of work, Maddy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, often outdoors at the beach or camping.

Dr Fergus C

Dr Fergus C

Fergus graduated from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom in 2022 and began his career at a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in London. He has since relocated to Perth to join the Greencross team, bringing with him a strong interest in internal medicine and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Outside of work, Fergus has a passion for travel and enjoys staying active through a variety of sports, including swimming and soccer—known to him as football.

Dr Brianna H

Dr Brianna H

Brianna graduated with distinction from Murdoch University and has been working in small animal general practice since completing her studies. She has had a lifelong passion for caring for animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian.

Outside of work, Brianna enjoys hiking and spending time with her friends and family

Dr Summer F

Dr Summer F

Dr. Summer Fu (BVS, BVMS) is a dedicated veterinarian at Greencross Subiaco, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for animal care to her practice. Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Fu spent 15 years working as a veterinarian before relocating to Perth in 2023. She earned her veterinary qualifications from Murdoch University, where her lifelong love of biology and animals inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Fu has a special interest in alternative medicine, having witnessed remarkable results in her patients. She plans to further expand her expertise in ultrasound, acupuncture, and traditional medicine, to offer more holistic care. Her greatest fulfillment comes from helping animals and their families, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective treatment.

Outside of work, Dr. Fu cherishes time with her 10-year-old daughter, with whom she shares a love for cats. She also enjoys cooking and creating meaningful moments with her family.
