Ellie E

Veterinary Nurse

Ellie has worked in animal care since 2006, qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2011. Combining her passion for animal welfare with creativity, she became a qualified professional pet stylist in 2012 and has since earned multiple awards in the field. Ellie joined Greencross Nedlands in 2016 as a Veterinary Nurse and Lead Senior Stylist, successfully managing the grooming salon while continuing her nursing career. In 2026, she moved to Greencross Subiaco to focus on veterinary nursing.
With extensive experience in both nursing and grooming, Ellie has a particular interest in kitten neonate care and critical emergency cases, and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients.

Tyler B

Head Veterinary Nurse

Tyler graduated as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2023 after completing her studies and work placement with Greencross. Her passion for animal care and dedication to patient wellbeing led her to join the Greencross Subiaco team, where she has quickly grown into a respected and valued member of the nursing team. In recognition of her leadership, clinical skills, and commitment to patient care, Tyler has now stepped into the role of Head Veterinary Nurse.

Tyler has a particular interest in canine nursing and enjoys building strong relationships with both patients and their owners. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care and takes pride in helping animals feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit. Her calm and attentive approach, combined with her strong clinical skills, allows her to advocate for the best possible outcomes for every patient.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors. She shares her life with her two dogs, Zeus, a Golden Retriever, and Luna, a Labradoodle, who are often her companions on walks along the river or trips to the beach. In her spare time, she also enjoys boating with her family, staying active at the gym, and being involved in netball as both a player and coach.

Dr Chantel

Veterinarian

Dr Chantel is originally from Malaysia and moved to Perth in 2018 to pursue her passion for animal health. She completed a degree in Animal Science and Animal Health before graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Murdoch University in 2025.

Chantel joined Greencross in March 2026 and enjoys the variety that comes with working in general practice. She has a particular interest in wildlife and exotic animal medicine, as well as surgery, and loves working with a wide range of species.

Outside of work, Chantel shares her home with two dogs, two cats, and four birds. She enjoys exploring new cafés and restaurants, trying new recipes, cooking, baking, and crocheting. She also loves travelling and is always looking forward to her next adventure.

Genevieve

Receptionist

Meet Genevieve! She has a real passion for animals and holds qualifications in Animal Care while currently studying Veterinary Nursing. Over the past year, she has worked as a veterinary receptionist at Greencross Subiaco, where she has built strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills in a busy clinic environment.

Inspired by her love of animals, especially her much loved chickens, Genevieve is dedicated to helping pets and their owners feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. She’s always eager to learn and grow, and her veterinary nursing studies continue to build her knowledge and hands-on skills. Genevieve enjoys being part of a veterinary team and is committed to making every visit a positive experience for both clients and their furry family members.

Lara

Veterinary Nurse

Lara joined the Greencross Vets Subiaco team in 2025 and has been part of the clinic as a student nurse, a Veterinary Receptionist, and now as a registered Veterinary Nurse. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through South Metropolitan TAFE, and also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Animal Science from the UK.

Lara loves helping pets and their owners through every stage of their veterinary journey. She particularly enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and being part of the bond between people and their pets. Whether it’s welcoming a new puppy, supporting a nervous patient, or helping families navigate more difficult decisions, Lara values the opportunity to make a positive difference to both pets and their people.

When she’s not at the clinic, Lara volunteers with Dogs’ Refuge Home, where she helps care for and socialise puppies awaiting their forever homes. She also enjoys exploring Western Australia and making the most of the outdoor lifestyle Perth has to offer.

Jaz O

Veterinary Nurse

Jaz joined our team in 2024 after the completion of her studies and student placement with Greencross and has been working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse with us since. Jaz quickly became an invaluable part of our team and is now a warm and familiar face around the clinic to pets and owners. She is passionate about creating a great experience for pet parents and their fur-babies by bringing her skill, compassion and dedication to patient-centred care to the forefront. Her interests in the clinic include anaesthesia, dentistry and canine behaviour, and she always aims to make every pets visit a more positive one than the last!

In her downtime, Jaz enjoys various aspects of art, nature and cooking, and of course the company of her own two fur babies – Oscar the Groodle and Squid, her Tonkinese cat

Chanté N

Receptionist

Chanté is a dedicated animal lover who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to both pets and their owners. As a receptionist, she enjoys creating a warm and welcoming environment for clients while helping ensure every visit runs smoothly.
She has completed a Certificate IV in Animal Training and Behaviour and is currently undertaking her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing as she works towards a long-term career in the veterinary industry. Her experience includes work placements in veterinary practice, volunteering with animal rescue and wildlife organisations, and fostering a variety of dog breeds, all of which have strengthened her knowledge of animal care and welfare.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her dachshund, Pippa, horse riding, and exploring the outdoors. She is passionate about continuing her education and helping pets live happy, healthy lives.

Dr Chris

Veterinarian

Chris graduated from Murdoch University in 2019 and completed a rotating internship in Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, and Anaesthesia at Perth Veterinary Specialists. Following four years in general practice, he undertook a dedicated surgical internship at VetSurg and, in 2025, attained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in Small Animal Surgery. This is an advanced postgraduate qualification recognising a high level of knowledge, competence, and experience in the field.

Chris has a particular passion for surgery, with special interests in soft tissue procedures and the management of complex cases. He is committed to continually advancing his knowledge and skills, keeping up to date with the latest veterinary techniques and evidence-based treatments to provide the highest standard of care for his patients. Known for his compassionate and collaborative approach, Chris enjoys supporting owners through every stage of their animal’s care and helping them make informed decisions for their pets’ health and wellbeing. Outside of work, Chris shares his home with his partner, two adopted cats and enjoys CrossFit, hiking, snorkelling, and exploring Perth’s food scene.

Dr Brianna H

Brianna graduated with distinction from Murdoch University and has been working in small animal general practice since completing her studies. She has had a lifelong passion for caring for animals and knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian.

Outside of work, Brianna enjoys hiking and spending time with her friends and family

Anais H

Practice Manager

Anais began her journey with Greencross Vets in 2017 in Sydney as a veterinary student and graduated as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020. Driven by her passion for animal care, she later relocated to Western Australia, where she has continued to grow her skills and career.

As Practice Manager, Anais enjoys supporting her team while ensuring excellent patient care and client experiences. With over five years of experience at Greencross and a CPVN in Surgical Nursing, she brings both strong clinical knowledge and leadership to the role. Anais has a particular passion for feline medicine and is a proud cat mum to 2 rescues Lana and Monroe. She is always happy to share her knowledge and provide advice on all things cat-related. Outside of work, Anais enjoys sewing, attending live music events, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Her dedication, compassion, and leadership make her a valued member of our team

Dr. Rachael H

Veterinary Director

Dr. Rachael’s journey has been filled with rich experiences and a deep passion for both small animal care and wildlife conservation. After qualifying as a veterinarian from the University College Dublin in 2016, she began her career in small animal practice in Devon, England, before returning to Cork, Ireland, where she worked in a variety of veterinary roles for four years. Rachael made the big move to Australia in 2021 and joined Greencross. Since then, she has led the Nedlands Clinic and now directs the Subiaco team, continuing to make a positive impact on both colleagues, clients and our wonderful patients.

Rachael has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and thrives on the challenge of complex medical cases. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring new places with her Cocker Spaniel, “Benson”. Though now based in Australia, she still stays connected to home by regularly FaceTiming her two beloved Irish-born Cocker Spaniels, Maggie and Lucy. With a love for adventure and a commitment to continuous learning, Rachael is enthusiastic about expanding her veterinary experience and making the most of her time in Australia.
