My name is Jackson and I am one of the more recent additions to Greencross Vets Williamstown. Having always possessed a passion for animals, being presented with the opportunity to volunteer at Greencross in year 10 was simply too good to pass up. This eventually led to being offered a part-time position and for me doing something I love, something that a lot of people my age aren’t lucky enough to be able to say. I hope that experiences I gain here will provide me with the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in the Veterinary Industry. At home I have 3 lovely pets a black labrador “Zing” and a pair of Tonkinese “Ziggy” and “Zsa Zsa”.
Hi my name is Krystal and I am a new addition to the fantastic team at Greencross Vets in Williamstown. I completed my high school work experience here in 2005, but I decided to take a different career path after year 12. However, after a few years, i realised that working with animals is my true passion. I volunteered here for a short time before i got a job as a cattery attendant/trainee nurse, which I love! I’m learning new things everyday and it is great to have hands on experience while studying for my Certificate II in Animal studies. The next step is to complete my Certificate IV in Vet Nursing which I am very excited about. I love working with these great people and we all have the same goal which is to look after and help your precious pets. I love coming home to my gorgeous pure white domestic cat, Charlee – she is so cheeky and has a wonderful, friendly personality. I also have a turtle, Mercury and a cockatiel, Yoshi who are both crazy, adorable characters!
Hello! My name is Lucas and I started in the clinic as a volunteer to understand the world of Veterinary Medicine. I have now started working at the Clinic in the cattery and assisting in the hospital when required. I am currently studying at Melbourne University hoping to become a vet in order to give assistance to animals in need. I have a strong passion for all types of animals – especially my golden Labrador Zeus who I love spending time with.
In 2014 I started work placement at Greencross Williamstown while completing my certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and in 2015 I was offered a position as a trainee veterinary nurse that I delightfully accepted! Before starting my career in veterinary nursing I completed my Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology and, as much as I did love studying science, I found that upon completion of my honours, my passion had faded. I came to realise I had a strong passion for being around animals and the prospect of working with them is what turned my focus to studying the certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. I have not looked back since and I am loving every minute of it! I thrive on learning all there is to know about animals and veterinary nursing so I can bring the best possible care to your fur-babies. At home I have two very sneaky Russian-spy ferrets, Boris and Natasha who love to go for walks or just curl up in bed, and I also have two very cheeky cats, Frankie and Henry. These two are always up to no good and keep me very busy but I would not have it any other way!
Hello, my name is Vladimir Elez (Vlad). I was born in Bosnia and back there I worked as veterinary technician. I have been a professional groomer for the last thirteen years, and for the past eleven years I have been at Williamstown Veterinary Hospital. I am married and I have two kids
Hi my name is Amy and I am the Practice Manager at Greencross Vets Williamstown. I started here in May 2012 after working at the Lort Smith Animal Hospital for the past six and a half years where I worked as a Senior Nurse and more recently as a Business Services Supervisor. I am a qualified vet nurse and as well as being passionate about animals and animal welfare, I am passionate about providing the best customer service and care. My animal family consists of a beautiful American Staffy Tia and two cats, Ritchie (Siamese x) and Zoe (Domestic Shorthair) who all keep me busy. I am loving working in the Williamstown area and am really enjoying getting to know our lovely clients and their pets.
Hi, my name is David and I have just recently joined the team at Greencross Vets in Williamstown as a Cattery Attendant. I am enjoying being a cattery attendant and spending time with the animals I care for. I have successfully completed a Certificate 2 in Animal Studies at The Gordon Institute in Geelong (2015), and I am currently completing a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services at Box Hill Tafe. I have several pets of my own, 3 dogs named Ace, Leo and Jett, and 2 cats named Matilda & Maggie. I have also owned birds, rabbits and fish as pets in the past. I hope that the experience I gain here will lead me further into the Animal Care Industry.

I started my veterinary career working in Camberwell before moving to England where I worked in a number of different practices. Whilst based in England I also enjoyed a number of adventures travelling around Europe, Africa and North America as well as performing voluntary veterinary work in developing countries. When I returned to Australia I worked at the Lort Smith Animal Hospital for five years. At Australias largest animal hospital, I experienced a varied caseload in medicine, surgery and emergency & critical care, whilst also being involved in my passion for animal welfare. I joined the team at Greencross Vets Williamstown at the end of 2010.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne in 2013. Throughout my university studies, I was fortunate enough to gain unforgettable experiences around the world, including working up close with wildlife in South Africa and expanding my oncology knowledge at the Royal Veterinary College in London. Prior to joining the team at Greencross Vets Williamstown in 2015, I enjoyed working with racehorses, travelling and volunteering with wildlife in the Philippines. I am particularly interested in small animal medicine and take advantage of any additional education opportunities to further develop my skills in this area and provide the best care for all my patients. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the world, going on adventures, hiking and horse riding. I have two rather unusual pets – a beautiful Green Cheeked Conure, Pedro, and Peanut, a very sweet rabbit. In the future, I hope to add a canine and equine companion to my household.
